Cool I'm actually liking Project Eden with the Reforged balance currently, so I'll be waiting for a couple of days for Reforged Eden. I am thinking of starting a fresh game, so might wait until the 12th as you suggest. Though I'll continue my existing game in the interim. Thanks for all your hard work, you and Vermillion have certainly rekindled my enthusiasm for Empyrion recently. My free time thanks you lol. Scoob.
Thanks for the quick update! I still can't complete Meet the GLaD, because it won't load the base. Do I have to start a new game to fix the bug?
It's in Lamorum Epsilon, the asteroid field in Layivnapha system. I'm still on the same saved game as last time, just been doing other stuff while waiting for the update.
That's a random generated system. It's since been updated to use fixed sectors near the starter system. Once you start a new game you can simply search for them on the galaxy map by their name (sigma zero, etc).
Ok, good. I sort of thought that would be the case. Didn't want to go through the prior missions again without a good reason though. I'll start a new game and try again. Thanks again for all the time and effort you've put into this!

I actually really like trying to repair damaged ships. Restoring the hoverbike back to it's original form and the ACH Dart (or back to what I imagine their original state was) was a lot of fun. I really want to start trying to take down patrol vessels with the absolute minimum damage so I can put a core in them and blueprint them before they disappear and then be able to respawn and repair them. I'd like to of course be able to just restore the original (or as close as I can manage)... but I think that all patrol vessels are set to despawn and so you can't really restore the original.
Yup, I noticed that as well. Every time I core a OPV and quit and then reload, they're gone. I understand the patrol vessels follow different rules or no rules. But it'd be awesome. Imagine capturing a destroyer. It would surely justify the tons of spent ammo, no?
It's probably only usable in single player, but I recently started a run where I only salvage and repair wrecks by using this: Put a core on a wreck (which is actually a base). Create a blueprint of that wreck/base. Spawn it in Creative and convert it to CV. Overwrite blueprint with converted CV. Back in survival I delete the existing wreck (base) and spawn the CV instead. I ran into issues with small blocks (SV) on the wreck / base / CV, but you can try to replace them with the correct blocks in Creative.
It happens on every server I follow and even seems to happen on the official servers. I haven't heard of any way to fix it.
Wow. So it is basically a bug in the game code. Seems like that would deserve a pretty major "bug report," but I did not see anything of the sort. I might have overlooked it though. Is it something Eleon seems to be aware of? Because it sounds like it is widespread enough across various servers that they should be aware of it so they can try to trouble shoot it.
