Actually I made a mistake, it only worked the other way around: AHK activated CTRL whenever I moved the throttle and JoyToKey triggered W when throttling up and S when Throttling down. This combination allows for slower more controllable speed changes... Although it's still a pain in the ass! So no, I was suggesting CTRL in conjunction with W and S, but I couldn't make AHK trigger for example (CTRL+W) when throttling up or (CTRL+S) When throttling down. I could only do either Ctrl or W, not both simultaneously.... I suppose a better version would be (CTRL+W) when throttling up and a quick/short S when throttle set to zero to stop the ship... Or we could also pressure Eleon to give us joystick support....

I have to say, this is outstanding. You've completely changed the game and flying is so much more natural and intuitive now. Just one very small problem: every time I push a button, there's a slight pitch-down movement. It's not an issue while flying around, just throwing off my aim a bit when firing. It's only about one degree; just barely enough to cause a miss. Any idea what could be causing that and how to fix it? I'm using anX52 on a very low-memory system, so it could be on my end.
First this is amazing work! Its so great of you to share it with the community! I tried it out in space and after fumbling my way through swapping out the yaw and roll in the script options it worked like a dream come true. My only problem was when I got on the ground I just can't use wasd to move(left handed). Would there be anyway someone who understands scripts more them me could edit it to swap wasd and the arrow keys? Then post that script. I would be really grateful
You should be able to do it yourself by using the secondary profile, that's what it was meant for i.e. alternative controls for ground vehicles. Look where it says Profile 2.

I have a Thrustmaster 16k and I ran the AutoHotKey and double clicked the AHK script, stick is not working. In the console when I plug in my 16kM & HOTAS it says: Joystick reconnected ("T.16000M") and ("TWCS Throttle"). The next message: "<RI.Hid> Failed to open asynchronous device handle:", "All pipe instances are busy."
