I'm not entirely sure if this is intentional behavior or not, but I am apparently able to fly a hover vessel up to just a little before entering orbit. After a recent run-in with a nasty high-gravity planet, I wanted to make my hover tank able to handle the extra gravity. So, I piled up a lot of hover engines and jet engines. This allows it to also go up and over even the sharpest of cliffs. That said, I'm not sure if it was because of launching off a side of a mountain like a giant ramp, or what, but I discovered that as long as my angle is high, I could keep flying higher and higher and higher. It feels like, at this angle, the jet engines are pushing upwards much faster than my HV would normally fall at.

So, I'm not sure if I just discovered something funny and cool, or a bit of a bug, I figure it's worth mentioning.

I tend to think that this is not a bug, per se, it is due to having a strong separated Playfields for planet surface, orbit / space in which different physics rules are applied, instead correct and continuous physics rules being applied across all situations. I bet this is the reason.
