    Mode: Survival
    Mode: Singleplayer

    SERVER NAME: N/A
    SEED-ID: Shii - 491423

    MODIFIED PLAYFIELDS: DontKnow

Reproducibility: it should be easy to reproduce by following steps reported below.

    Severity: Minor.

    Type: reporting/gauging.

Summary: on SV power report doesn't change even if a circuit disables engines.

Description: as reported in attached file _1 the SV with all the engines enabled has its own power consumption. In attached file _2 I've posted the engines I'm using (15) and the enabling/disabling circuit. In attached file _3 you may see the activation lever: when in red engines are working. In attached file _4 you may see the 'supposed' (sorry for posting if it's not :) ) bug: after circuit activation the power report is the same. You can see that's a different screenshot from the _1 by looking at the time reported on the saving template section or anyway at the Thrusters voice which now correctly is reported with the red light. Of course attached file _5 and _6 are also to be used as visible proof that the circuit is indeed working.
Please note that the bug has different behaviours: in the vast majority of cases it doesn't change but in some playthrough I distinctly remember a delta of 4 PU. Still not clear to me why that happens.

Steps to Reproduce: build your own SV, add to it several engines, put those under an activation Follow mode circuit and see the effect on power report.

Screenshots, Crash Logs, any other Relevant Information or Download
Uploaded screenshot: I've added yellow circles to easily locate important sections.
If you need the savegame, I can send it to you. Sorry if it's not a bug. In the known issues I've looked for 'power report' and 'SV power' finding anything. Thank you.

If I read and judge this correct...as your SV is docked to the Base(?) there is no change if you switch the Thruster on or off. Idle stays idle.
What consumes here the Power are all of the other Parts of your Vessel, like Ventilators, Cockpit and other Devices.
If you put your SV on the ground and its not docked you can see whats really happening.

    Hi Admiral, Sir,

thank you for your suggestion and of course as usual you're on the right path.

I've put the advice to good use hence I've performed the following tests:

    - docked on base on a planet with atmosphere -> no change on power report
    - in space, not docked -> no change on power report
    - stopped in mid-air in a planet with atmosphere -> more or less 50 PSU which is good for me :)
    - in a planet with atmosphere, landed on terrain far away from base -> exactly 5 PSU
    - docked on my space shipyard useful for build a CV -> exactly 4 PSU
    - stopped in mid-air in a moon without atmosphere -> 31 PSU
    - landed on a moon without atmosphere -> no change on power report

So now... I'm not sure :) of course it's right to have different consumption in different environment, tremendously right so it's also right to have different deltas, so that's appear correct to me, now :)

The no change scenarios instead appear still strange to me: it that correct? I mean idle at minimum should be different from completely off I guess.

Anyway it's really a less than minor bug but the game as of now has left us just minor bugs so we can only report those :)

    Hope the reports help.

Kind regards and thank you Admiral for the help.

Thrusters in idle mode use no power. They don't always go idle when you land though so a switch to turn them off is still useful in case they don't go idle when you land.
