Reforged Eden Scenario

    Super Shotgun is not really deserving of an epic purple color. Combat shotgun is way better. To make the Super Shotgun epic, need to considerably lower the reload time .

    Has anybody gotten a custom 2nd explosive device to work? I have gotten a new kind of explosive to be available in-game, but because explosives involve the eclassconfig, in addition to having entries in itemsconfig and templates, - there is something that I'm missing that I can't figure out. No matter how I change the settings for the 2nd explosive type, it always acts exactly like the OG explosive. I want a vanilla explosive, and then a demo charge that really lights it up and destroys POIs. Has anybody had any luck with that?

    I looked at it and no, it seems hard coded from the way the configs are set up.

    Wow. Amazing.

    You know, one thing I find a bit puzzling, if not immersion breaking is: the number of humans one encounters on a typical RE galaxy instance. There are humans all over the place . . . well anywhere Polaris is anyway.

    I don't want to spoil anything for others but I'm curious: did you guys think through a plausible back story for how there are so many humans (and moroever, so many who are apparently civilian) scattered all over the galaxy?

    That's the default game POIs.
    I personally try to keep humans to a minimum and only where they make sense. I think a few might join other factions or become pirates through circumstance or choice. But I don't know the official reason why there are so many in the default game.

    Remember that many planets still use the default game POIs and not the reforged versions yet. I plan for 1.5 to convert them all to Reforged versions with a find and replace string to do them all but I just didn't do that for the last updates.

    Hi everyone,
    for the second time I tried to finish the last part of the Dead Part 2 - the last cry in Reforged Eden. Unfortunately without success.
    Although I had the augmented armor suite plus extra armor, the health nanite and all weapons were epic. Now I am a bit frustrated..:confused:

    ..and I would like to know, if anybody was able to succeed and finish it in Reforged Eden? Because I think now, it is impossible. At least as a single player.

    I am having trouble getting Reforged Edon to run. I have removed the config.ecf file but still get the CorQ internal error. Ideas? Thanks.

    Ah, it's a server?
    You might have missed a step setting it up. Double check you followed all steps in the Project Eden guide, including renaming the scenario folder that you copied over.

    I finished it on medium difficulty, single player. Took me many tries.

    The toughest part is the end ark , end stages, when they keep coming non stop while at the bottom. You have to keep moving in circles at the bottom. The rooms all have side entrances while the mobs keep dropping in the center of the rooms. Go from 1 room to the next via the side entrances, a big circle. Turning around once in a while and launching a grenade at the mass behind you. Make sure to run a lot, but watch stamina too.

    When it comes times to hit the switches stage, you need to clear enemies first again while going around the halls in a big circle. If you go into 1 of the rooms with the switches with a bunch of enemies still alive in the halls, they will come in behind you and trap/kill you.

    Make sure to be using health nanites + stamina nanites and have health heal packs on hotbar. I found the elite assault rifle, combat shotgun, minigun (+mini with flame grenades) to all be effective in this last stage. I used heavy armor with 2 enhanced multibooster mods and 2 armor mods if i remember right.

    Dat elite assault rifle is a beast.

    Thanks for your reply. I did more or less as you did. I must be too slow and/or too old for stuff like this.
    Anyway. just wanted to know, if anyone succeeded. For now I give up, may be when 1.5 is out I 'll try again. I still hope they make it a bit easier.:D

    Scenario is fun, and enjoying it overall - thanks!

    The mission that makes you jump to three of each type of star is pretty pointless, not fun, waste of player time. Please reduce it to one warp per type. The "warp to three a4v class system(s)" mission is very annoying as I cannot find even one A4V after searching for 10 minutes. Since there is no easy way to filter by system, please drop this mission in the name of fun factor (it currently feels like a work assignment).

    You don't need to do that mission. It's optional. A lot of people like it so I will be keeping it.

    You can also learn to use the galaxy map. It's not too hard to find them once you start using WASD C SPACE while holding left click.
    You can also speed up your camera movement by holding shift, Ctrl, or both.

    And if you want to cheat it you can
    warp to the same star again

    Yes I know that it is optional; your whole scenario is optional I don't "have to" play it but the purpose of playing it is extra content and more challenge than vanilla game. I thought you would be interested in feedback but I acknowledge it is creators choice to retain or change things ultimately.

    And, yes, I know the basic keys for standard/fast/very fast map movement - I have already used those keys and visually scanned for about 15 minutes and found only 1 A4V class. There may be more, maybe I am being blind. There is another post asking about the same star class so clearly I am not the only one that struggled with locating these type of rare systems. Anyway the spoiler workaround you supplied helped me overcome the current problem and I shall continue enjoying RE. Thanks again to you and to MrV for your countless hours putting this together.

    There's also a cluster of A4V stars, but sadly you cannot add labels to the galaxy map yet. I've asked for that feature but not sure if or when it will be added.

    I was already planning on slightly increasing the chance of A4V stars in the main galaxy anyway as I think they are a bit too rare on average anyway.

    Well bummed about the 1.5 release of Empyion. Want to play 1.5, but not without Reforged Eden.

    Hi Ravien, or somebody able to help. I was wondering where is sv's jumpdrive configured? I would like to jump some au with sv's too a little :)

    thank you for you answer. Yes I know where to config files are, but just can't seem to find the jump drive.
