v1.5 EXP: New faction: Brotherhood of Farr

    As we did not add a real big, interactive faction for a while, we would like you to take a close look onto the newest addition to the npc factions in the game.

    The faction has
    - its own territory in the galaxy (slightly behind the Polaris; more in direction towards the galaxy center)
    - an own set of dedicated POIs (thx to spanj and all contributors!)
    - a reputation matrix, means you can improve or f*** up your reputation with it. (There is no Credibility Seal or restore-rep mission for the Farr yet, so be careful what you do .. of course testing the combat abilities is also a way of testing :D )

    The Farr have a home system where on the Arid/Desert planets you can find their MAIN settlements (more POI/more difficult POI) and other planets (temperate, alien, ..) with smaller bases, ruins and a dungeon once and a while.

    Quick question here. Is the new faction restricted to their galactic territory, or do they have some places out in the galaxy at large? I mean, do we have to go visit their territory, or will we come across them outside Brotherhood territory?

    The BoF currently (!) is only to be found inside their galactic territory

    Well, I guess it's only fair. First get your own territory, then scout new places, then (?), and finally, PROFIT! Thanks for the answer, though.

    @Hummel-o-War I ran several of the [BoF] POIs on @spanj 's 1.5 experimental server.
    here are my results.

    I was playing as neutral with [B0F]

    [BoF] Bank Of FARR (my submission)
    - POI still does not spawn with shields active. there is a switch in the security center to deactivate them before hitting the main meat of the POI but they should be active for the initial exterior combat go gain the entrance to the POI.
    - Quarters above farm plots (large quarters in dorm area): the shower and toilet need to be set to public 0000.
    - Entrance to Chapel: the right door of three needs to be set to public 0000.
    - Door from back of structure (landing pad and smelter area) into POI should be set to public 0000.

    [BoF] Brotherhood Mission (my submission)
    - the POI spawns in with the lower level area in the back filled with dirt.
    - Name shows up on HUD as Brotherhood (I assume that Brotherhood Mission was too long). maybe just change the name to [BoF] Mission
    - Door to core room is faction. with an admin core it is not possible to get to the core and the loot containers in that room. Either hide a switch in another part of the POI that opens that door, damage the door so it can be destroyed to enter that room, or replace it with a faction core.
    - Set medical units in the medical area to public 0000.

    [BoF] Trade Center (my submission)
    - Front Door to POI needs to be set to public 0000.
    - O2 Stations need to be set to public 0000.
    - there are two blocks on the shielding protecting the core that need to be painted white like the rest.
    - the same model is used for all of the traders. vary the model.
    - trader in the medical area is set to default trader should be medical trader.
    - trader in the Aunt Mary's area is set to default trader should be Aunt Mary's.
    - trader at bar outside the poi is set to default trader this should be a bartender trader.
    - Doors on second level to small balcony on front of POI are set to faction. should be set to public 0000.
    - Door to landing pad on the roof is set to faction. should be set to public 0000.
    - Door to core room should be set to faction. player should have to destroy door (and reputation) to get at the core.
    - Hanger doors are set to faction. Set to public 0000.

    [BoF] Trading Station (Space) (my submission)
    - O2 Stations need to be set to public.
    - Lowest level is missing a ventilator. please add a ventilator to this area.
    - The cyborg trader between Artimis and Interweap is set to a default trader. this should be a general goods trader.

    [BoF] Farr Commune
    - Name should just be Commune the Farr part is redundant
    - Trader between the ramps at the loading dock area is not assigned a trader type. This should be a medical ingredients trader.

    [BoF] Hand of FARR
    - Main Entrance doors are set to faction. set to public 0000 if desired? you cant get into the POI without blowing the doors right now.

    [BoF] Open Market
    - Move the small console to the left or right side of the opening for the trader stalls so that you can reach the traders easily.

    [BoF] Gold Refinery
    - As a player who is neutral with FARR I can walk through the POI all the way to the core destruct switch, destroy the core, and loot the POI without upsetting my reputation with the FARR. You may need to put something before the shutdown switch that needs to be destroyed. If you set both doors to the ramp area to faction then the player has to destroy a door before he can proceed into the dungeon part of the POI.
    - Main entrance Hanger Door is set to faction access only.
    - One of the two access doors to the ramp area from the main floor to the lower level is set to faction. the other side of the POI is set to public. The side with the food trader is set to faction the other side is set to public.

    [BoF] Healing Center
    - Should the medical equipment in this POI be public? fractioned right now. Should toilets and showers in this POI be public? factioned right now.

    [BoF] Sanctuary Hospital
    [BoF] Sanctuary Shelter
    - there is a floating light about 6-8 blocks to the right of the POI when looking at the entrance side on both of these.
    - these are supposed to be drop ship type POIs that are dropped on a non FARR planet.
    -- Should the medical equipment in these POIs be public? fractioned right now.
    -- Should toilets and showers in these POIs be public? fractioned right now.

    [BoF] Residence
    [BoF] Abandoned Reactor
    [BoF] Free Clinic
    [BoF] Greenhouse
    [BoF] Farrs Might
    [BoF] Chappel
    [BoF] Solar Farm
    [BoF] Hydroponics
    [BoF] Refuling Station
    - Good no issues

    Probably best to let @spanj know and you him/the builders can get together and submit fixed POIs.

    Jep, fixing the POI I'd like to leave to spanj & co as they know best what shall work and what not ;)

    Thanks to @goldwingknight for making the following fixes, epb files attached.

    Change Log:
    BoF] Bank Of FARR
    - Turned on Shields
    - Set all Showers and Toilets to Public.
    - Set Entrance to Chapel area right door to public.
    - Set back entrance door to public.
    - Added hidden loot room under stage with two containers

    [BoF] Brotherhood Mission
    - added a layer of cement to square out the bottom of the POI and prevent dirt from filling the lower areas.
    - set medical devices to public
    - set door to core room to public

    [BoF] Trade Center
    - Set Front Door to public - Set O2 Stations to public
    - painted two blocks around the core white to match the rest.
    - varied the model used for the traders so they are not all human trader.
    - set trader in plant area to aunt mary's - set trader in medical area to medical trader
    - Set trader at bar outside the poi to food trader instead of default.
    - Doors on second level to small balcony on front of POI are set to faction. should be set to public 0000.
    - set landing pad door to public.
    - engaged the lockout switch for the core room and engineering area.
    - set hanger doors to public.

    [BoF] Trading Station (Space)
    - O2 Stations set to public. - added a ventilator to the lower level.
    - The cyborg trader between Artimis and Interweap is set to a default trader. I set this to a resource.

    [BoF] Farr Commune
    - Trader between the ramps at the loading dock area was set to a seeds trader.
    - set the ramp block door to the control room to public
    - added a switch in one of the upsairs rooms to open the blast door to the engineering area.
    - added a swtich in the engineering area to open the hanger door.

    [BoF] Gold Refinery
    - Added a switch in the first control room with a sign that says intruder alert security lockdown engaged. that switch locks all control room doors and the two doors to the ramp area. I added an unlock code 8026 to each of these doors.
    - set the main entrance hangar door to public

    @Hummel-o-War please can you update these (Farr Trading stations) with these versions. was informed on spanj discord that the station didn't have gravity. fixed this issue and also fixed some missing textures on and gravity on kudos station

    Sry guys.. I am a bit behind schedule with the POI updating (Farr and others submitted in the showroom). Will try to get them added on the weekend for next weeks release :)

    @Hummel-o-War
    I had to make one more small modification to the refinery.
    Change Log:
    -slightly damaged each of the control room doors so that they can be destroyed by the user if locked.
    -changed the lock code on the doors from the one that was posted in the thread above. (spoilers)
    -selected the invert checkbox on the lock function on each of the doors controlled by the control room switch.
