Base

Hi,

Here is my first conceptual base, Albireo, I wanted to try different things like big chains or 2 gravity in a single vessel. That's done . The circular outer part, I have not been able to apply two different gravity, so there are none.

very nice, throw few navigation lights on outside and outside looks done lol

 

yes nice looking base but you need a lot of time to be rebuilt and coring and design looks good.

 

Heavy Turret Defense

 

I'm curious, what do you guys use as an ammo for the Ion-cannons? I've tried all ammo from regular cannon-fodder to plasma-cartridges and nothing that I can figure out seems to make them shoot anything in Survival mode (despite them having an option to set them shoot anything from prey's to alien and other factions)

I've seen so many guys using them in their blueprints that I doubt it can be just pure decoration. So reveal me your secrets! ;D

 

You use nothing, as it stands currently they are not technically player controled turrets, alien only. Only way to include them in a blueprint is to make the blueprint in creative.
