A game called 7 Days to Die added a feature a long time ago that automatically re-equipped items you had equipped for you upon looking your bag. Example: I have Shotgun in 1, Assault Rifle in 2 and Multi Tool in 3. What would happen is that when I die and return to loop my backpack, these items will automatically go back onto my hotbar. This would amazing as one of the most annoying things in the game is when you use loot all (shift + F) but it doesn't pick up everything because now that your equipment isn't on your hotbar, you have a lot less inventory spaces. It would also just be convenient in general. It's annoying to have to put everything back on my hotbar whenever I die.
Eventually CHANGE the setting for the Toolbar (that everyone can chose from) what should remainn the Toolbar after Death?
You seem to be misunderstanding possibly? They don't want to "cheat" and keep their items on death. They just want their items to return to their original place only once they collect their dropped backpack.
Your arguments get more weird by the day... since when is a hard coded setting in the game a CHEAT? But yes, I grasped what 'feature' the OP suggested. Eventually in the next 3 or 4 years it may be added...
I agree with you, and I do NOT think it's cheating. As you said it's a feature. I put it in quotes because some players feel it's cheating for themselves, as in that's not how they want to play. It sounded like the OP didn't just want their items to remain on death, they just wanted the slots to be remembered (like how ARK does it for example).
To clarify, I'm fine with having to loot my backback to get the items back after I die. I just want the game to remember were I had stuff equipped so I don't have to do it every time I pick up my stuff and have to loot the bag multiple times because my inventory is "full" due to my items not being on my hotbar.
