Ja!

Th seems to have been quite a bit of changes to Drone and PV AI which I didn't see in the notes. Love the fact that they now aggressively patrol, really adds to the survival and unpredictability elements of the game!

Also loved watching a pack of Raptors go hunting a bunch of herbivores as well. Feels more like a living world. Not seen the parasaurs eat / drink yet though!

I had a bigger group of raptors just turning around me and not attacking, I was able to 'lead' them inside a Polaris building, once inside their motion will get screwed-up, sometimes they walk through the air losing contact with the ground.

Well, I haven't played the game for a while because AI improvements is exactly what I was waiting/hoping for. I thought it worthwhile to pop in just to say that I'm really hyped and grateful to see the devs working on it.

I hope it works out well so it can be used for faction and NPC improvements too. I've noticed that some factions already react to and fight each other since the 1.4 patches, that's great, it really helps to bring the universe to life!

Mehrfach beobachtet: Arbeitsteilung Spider/Raptoren - Spinne killt Pangolin oder Triceratops (SD? Echt jetzt?). Raptoren sammeln sich am Kadaver zum fressen. Spinnen jagten, aber Raptoren nicht? Ausnahme: Meinereiner, mich jagen sie ALLE :D

So, after seeing there was some debate about whether the AI is working, I went all David Attenborough and decided to watch the animals in gm iv and see what was happening. The new predator AI seems to be working. Spiders aggressively attacked herbivores (and out of IV i could lead the spiders to a herbivore and they attacked that in preference). I also watched a raptor hunt down a parasaur (they struggle to keep up, but kept at it). It then killed the parasaur, and afterward stopped it's hunting behaviour and returned to patrolling - I presume this is intentional, as it's 'hunger meter' had been filled by the kill. I did not see them once do any kind of hiding / lurking thing which was mentioned in the patch notes, but I'm not sure what I am looking for with that. Also, as a lot of people have reported, only the aggressive raptors seem to attack things. The others just run around!

However, I am not sure I have seen any of the new herbivore behaviour. As I understand, parasaurs are supposed to have this 'hiding in the grass' thing. I think I saw that - at night (and sometimes during the day) they will go very slowly, and not do any of their running / roaring behaviours, and sort of remain low on all fours . Is this the hiding behaviour?

Despite following a whole bunch near water for nearly 20 minutes, I didn't see them once go to the water for a drink. Not sure if this is working at all? I'm also not sure if I have seen them eating. They will occasionally bend down and 'eat' grass, but I thought (perhaps I was wrong) that they would eat actual pickable foods (like the plant protein or things like it). I definitely didn't see that at all either - though I guess I don't know what their food is they prefer to thoroughly test out.

Be interesting to hear other people's experiences on this, and whether I have been unlucky / had the wrong understanding of what would happen?
