Help needed Do I need a new Game for V1.5 POIs?

Hi everybody!

I´m currently playing singleplayer game, only.

I´m mostly interested in exploring.
So the new POIs are a wonderful gift to me.

But do I have to start all over again, or will the new PIO be put into the random generator for unvisited systems?

So that I have a chance to see some when I continue exploring?

There is a way to transfer the content of your old game to a new game, I have written a guide in Steam based on a Spanj's video. Link for the video is included.

I know how to transfer my stuff to a new game.

It´s just the time and effort...
I really hoped it wouldn´t be necessary.

I've started a new single player campaign with every release starting with... wow, I don't even remember... something sub version 0.23?
I actually find the first hour or two of the game to be the most fun - scrabbling for resources and struggling to get yourself established. Once you've built that self-sufficient CV, you've basically "won" the game at this point.
