Build: 3384 Mode: Creative / Survival Mode: Single Player / Multiplayer Reproducibility: Always Severity: Major Type: Collision Summary: When using your jetpack in space the avatar is now too tall to fit through SV doors and some CV doors. Description: Something changed with the player avatar collision box, possibly in this latest 1.5.1 patch. When using jetpack in space the player is now elevated to a height above the floor that makes it difficult to get through certain armored doors on CVs, and impossible to enter SVs without tipping. See screenshots for details. Steps to Reproduce: Load a MERC MX-5E Prefab in Creative in space. Turn on your jetpack and try to enter through the back door. Your head will hit the frame. You will have to corkscrew your way in through the back door to enter the ship. In a gravity field the collision box seems to be correct. OMG thank you, I thought I was going crazy. I have this same issue. Literally can't get through the door without going fully horizontal. Third person view: First person view:
I can confirm this issue. I built the Buzzard Gunship from @spanj in my SP and wasn't able to get out of the ship without gm
But therein lies the entire problem with adding crouch to this game: in space, are you crouching, or just lifting your knees up?
Ran into this when trying to capture a ship the other day.... couldn't board to loot/cap it without destroying major portions
and also alot of the time when I exit cockpit chairs or enclosed cockpits my avatar is bugged as being very small or very big.. only way to fix is to re-log.. VERY annoying...
