Do you even plan to finalize the storyline?
If so - when? I am already getting too old to play video games

You can never be too old to play video games.

Well that wouldn't be funny, because according to Eleon, an ID assigned once in SaveGame should never change again

well not funny in the fun sense, but funny as in strange. Well things indeed changed ID after last eleon patch. Made a shitload of issues on some custom POIs, as water blocks from RE was suddenly ship Solar panels, and so on.

If ELEON assigns a ID is one thing. If a Member works with those UN-ASSIGNED ID's and assigns them to different Stuff...I think you get the picture...

I updated RE and compared the IDs with the values a week ago. There were no changes. because what you observed on a server must have other reasons

If the blocks data file in your save game got corrupted, deleted, or didn't save when updating the scenario, that could cause the issues you experienced. Make sure you don't delete, edit, move, remove, or write-protect the blocksmap.dat file in your save game, and that you don't transfer structures between save games either as that could cause the same issues. Don't touch that file at all, and allow the game full access to edit that file as it needs to.

Also, I assume you are talking about blocks. The above doesn't apply to items as those are not dynamically mapped. The item IDs of Project Eden were all moved into a new range and so saves created in 1.4 are not compatible with the 1.5 version of Project Eden or Reforged Eden.

Haha, ok if you say so :) However, I think their long journey needs to end at some point because even if I don't get too old to play, they might get too old to code ;)

20 years later in Eleon Game Studios...

Now, where did I put that variable for block ID, oh boy... I can't remember..... damn glasses, I use the largest font and DPI, and I can't see anything... oh boy ...

Will this cause compatibility issues with bundles made with Unity 2020.1.11f1 which Eleon provided in the Blocks Modding thread ?
