Needs attention Important Announcement

Hi Galactic Survivalists,

We are very sorry but something broke in the last patch. DO NOT update the game and server atm.
If you have done this already then the best is to shutdown and wait till we fixed it so things dont get worse then it is.

Note: this only applies to Old SaveGames. If you start a fresh SaveGame then everything works fine

It would be nice if they share this on Discord as well, the only thing in the announcements is their new Discord logo and that V1.6 is coming soon.

Do we have to set up from the last backup or what happened here - please give us more info so we can assess the error

 

The public branch has been reverted to v1.5.7 B3449

Update Clients and Server and you can continue as before

 

the only channels I can subscribe to and link to my Discord are annoucments_general and teasers. I don't have the time and desire to hang out in EGS Discord all the time, I rely on info when hosting a server. And I don't know I don't see any #announcements_public. But anyway my server is down and I hope the save game is not corrupted.

 

And what can have broken now? Is it something essential or just something like the player statistics that was already broken anyway?

 

With the revert nothing is broken that came from the update from this morning

 

You have to get the Role first to see the Patch Notes Channels. You do that in the Welcome Channel

Update to the revert we just did and you can continue on the SaveGame as before
