He does not DEFEND them but pointing out that you are in ERROR about the Devs not reading Player requests.
I think you may have to read more of his posts. If something is wrong then he will say so. IMO. one of the good people to keep an eye on. Says it as it is and is not a fanboy.
What? We already can. I did. I am tired of a small slender tree stopping my multi ton HV and my multi kilo ton CV preventing it from landing properly. It is unnatural.
Thought I'd post here to see if anyone else has this... I loaded an older, main branch, Reforged Eden save in v1.6 where I was stood on a CV of mine. I was instantly greeted with LOUD Thruster sounds despite the CV's thrusters all being off. Trying the old "Turn it off then on again" technique, I noticed that I get Thruster sound when Thrusters are OFF, but they're nice and silent when ON. I've tried making a new save, quitting and reloading and the issue persists. Just wanted to tinker with the new version, but the constant Thruster noise - it really is very very loud - is a bit off putting lol. Scoob.
While that maybe true that the bulk of new poi’s and new factions are only “aesthetic” the vast bulk of this content is made by the community not the devs. This content adds value to the game and gives players new stuff to explore/attack/trade with etc. The game needs this to keep longer term players interested. What would this game be like without this content from the community? I would like to point out this is not a dig at the devs who do an amazing job and actually engage with the community.
I do wish they had someone on the dev team who made planets and POIs. The community made stuff is AMAZING but there's some gaps in the content which can be hard or impossible for players to feasibly make.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Elion Please add stealth Mod , for players , ships and bases , not detected on radar unless you are 200 miter from them , you can see them visually This will make the game more interesting , stealth device maybe , stealth booster for player , please consider this , we need stealth things to be in game , i build a base for example , I need no one to see it in multiplayer game , unless he find it physically , please add those devices and boosters .. -please Add wireless sensor from sector to sector , you can control you base from another sector -Please add pve land/sector claim devices thanks
I love stealth mechanics in games when they are done right. However, I'd prefer a crouch/prone button before any stealth mechanics. Your idea is good but I feel it's not the time for it yet when there are other things that should happen first. I don't know if they have some dedicated 3D modelers for characters and animations but those could all use a revamp too. I believe they mentioned it's something on their TODO list during one of the livestreams when I asked a while back so here's hoping we get some cool new player/NPC models and better animations (different reload animations would be a good start). Love the work Eleon is doing and they update much much more often then some other Unity based games (I'm looking at you, Zombie crafting game..)

Seems to be of no high prio for the Devs to solve. Or.. The 'issue' has a deeper connection to events that needs to be attended before they can approach the API.
Both would be quite disappointing :-( After all, all these bugs meet the criteria (100% reproducible in the vanilla game) of which Eleon claims again and again that they will be fixed.
Fixing this (your guess) DAT-Problem may cause a thousand other things to break. It may be that this API-related (or not related) Issues is connected with something that need a lot of time to 'fix' it (after all, something like that seems to me to be a rather 'cosmetic' than a Game-Breaking issue). If the Bug fits into the current Road-Map/TO-DO-List they will attend to it, for sure.
You can lower/raise of the camera while switching to 3rd view in vessel, then pressing ALT and then adjusting with PageUp/PageDown buttons
