Open the Possibilities of community If you really Create a Container controller as a vending machine , where people can buy and sell stuff from each other by in came credits that can be placed in CV or Base , and this Vending machine you can put 1 type of stuff or multiple as possible , it will make the game more fun for community , people can make markets on planets and in space to sell different things , check out this city
I had built a (very old and simple) version of a vending machine via scripting once in 2019. In the meantime, you can do even more with it and the performance of running many parallel scripts has also increased drastically ;-)
he is referring to making in game community trading stations for buying and selling. like the in game marketplace but setup by players. we come from a very large multiplayer server. having a dispensary device would be very helpful in this environment.
By talking about new features outside the purpose of this thread, we jeopardize derailing the conversation. I understand what he and you are claiming. The thing is that the whole buy and sell kills the purpose of the gaming being one of the survival genre. Everyone will start digging for gold or do missions to get paid for rewards in money or items to sell to make more money.
lol conversations always seem to get derailed here. so i feel no need to refrain. I don't see this idea being a problem for the game. we have been doing this for years without any in-game mechanics. doesn't seem to ruin anything as we are still coming back for more. some players like to explore, some like to fight, and some like to trade. why force a specific gameplay on everyone? limitations don't exactly "enhance" gameplay all the time.
Is it possible to switch off the "water animation"? I have never seen more "unnatural" water in computer games - waves that come out of nowhere and don't behave like waves at all - and sacrificing the computing power of the already mediocre FPS for this is out of proportion.
