Hello, Is there a way to assign an icon to newly created items in single player? The most important thing would be where the files go. So I just made some changes to the config files. I know that the whole thing works when you create your own scenario. But I don't have so many changes that it's worth it. And I would like to follow the standard story - introduction and quest. With Scenarios the icons are under: Scenarios\XYZ\SharedData\Content\Bundles\ItemIcons\ In singleplayer it reads them from the asset file "itemicons" ? steamapps\common\Empyrion~\Content\Bundles\itemicons Is it possible to add your own icons to this asset file or unzip it ?
No not for Default Singleplayer Messing with our bundles is breaking our ToS You really have to do this from a Custom Scenario
I had hoped there was a way. Unpacking or adding would have been the most obvious. If I create a blank scenario that contains e.g. only modified config files - can I still play the quest and the introduction of the default scenario?
Dont know, certain files are needed for a scenario to function You could always copy the Default Playfield files and PDA from Default Content to Scenario. Then you have them aswell
See the config scenario in my signature. It has the full folder structure and introductions for where the files go. You only need the solar system config files and a few other files.
