    I hate it.

Don't get me wrong - the level itself is fantastic in it's looks, the idea of exploring a drifting hulk is great.
But there's too many enemies/turrets, the weapons you have are meh and the enemies are bullet sponges.

Enemies spawning behind you/around the corner is TERRIBLE design, never use it.
The Mech that is supposed to help you is useless, doesn't attack anyone (and you have to enter a room full of turrets and enemies to activate it, making it double pointless).

On a more subjective/personal note, I hate the legacy. Conceptually, the flood/beast like bio-horror virus that magically affect machines and flesh is something I find terrible., Even moreso when it talks to you in the most stereotypical fashion of a shonen villain.

Well, I agree on the way enemies spawn. It's very very bad design when you've cleared out a room and suddenly there's an enemy behind you anyway. Also, I really hate that they don't make a sound when they pop in right behind you. And it's just outright bad design when you actually see enemies pop into existence in front of you -- particularly when story-wise they are not actually teleporting or something but, instead, the game is just simply unapologetically spawning them in. Generally in a mission of this sort of style enemies should be pre-placed.

I don't think it's as hard as people are saying though. I brought in a good sniper rifle and the enemies went down with a shot to the head pretty easily usually. I suppose that their HP is a bit high in regards to using virtually anything else though. It seems like generally speaking they are harder to kill than they should be -- especially with weapons like the assault rifles which should be at least somewhat more effective on them than they seem to be. I do think it's weird we're introduced to things I suppose we shouldn't even know about yet though. What are overseers? They feel like a major story spoiler and haven't been introduced in the game's story yet when one gets this mission as far as I know (or maybe they show up on some starter worlds and are just ordinary creatures, I don't know, but with a name like that and the way they seem to be, it really feels like they're a spoiler of something we shouldn't see yet.)

I don't think the concept of the Legacy is so bad though. I'm very curious to learn more about it honestly. As for the mech, I think maybe it's not necessarily supposed to help you so much as that you're just following the protocols to convince the ship's limited AI to go through the procedures needed to fully purge things. But then again maybe not. It is indeed useless and, in fact, when it came bursting out the first time I shot it and had to reload a save since it immediately made Polaris hostile to me. (In fact, it maybe actually would make more sense if the mech were infected too -- since the Legacy infects everything -- and you had to fight it as a sort of boss, but then again it is a bit OP for characters at this point in the game and would make more sense if it were one of those smaller blue mechs instead in such a case.)

There are planets where the Overseers are the only sentient beings (not even any Zirax drones on them) ... and yes, they're hostile there too.

I believe the Legacy have encountered the Overseer worlds and collected/corrupted them along with the other races they have done the same to (do you remember the corrupted Talon in the old pyramid with the prisoner in the cryo cell at the start of the story?).
