Suggestion 1: In the constructor UI, allow us to simply re-arrange queued tasks, changing their order, with drag & drop or other procedures. (Likely very difficult because of UI limitations). Suggestion 2: in the Wireless Connection access for constructors, allow us to switch between the various constructors so that each one can be accessed remotly (could be done with the current UI).
how come we can't have a constructor producing from more than one slot? like 5 slots producing stuff at once. its really terrible trying to make ammo......or have an ammunition factory building which can make ammo for 1/4 the time as now.
You say "5 slots producing stuff at once"... But for that you'd need 5 constructors, or it would take 5 times longer for 1 constructor to do it! And to manage 5 constructors, or 8, or 10 etc., that's exactly why I made suggestion 2. AFAIK, currently you only have remote access to 1 constructor, that's a bit shabby in a century of Electronics and Circuitery
I'm not against it, but look it's a constructor.... magical, which practically does everything. My idea was to make an ammunition and weapons table, a vehicle workshop, a chemical table, laboratories for crops, etc. to make it more survival, FO4 style, but.....-
I believe he wishes a constructor can produce 2 or more stuff simultaneously. For the wireless connection part of your suggestion #2, I wish the constructors can access containers from other bases. Thus, some sort of "satisfactory" can be achieved.
if I may suggest yet another feature? set constructors to groups that work together. the easyest way would be to have a field in controlpannel to select group 1-x or none; all in same group show same ui and produce the same item, just faster by count of constructors. (i had (and will have) a 20 constructor fuel cell production on my space station and needed to start 1k fuel cells on each of em) (SE has such a mode, but their assemblers did other stupid things, like filling up on material for a item down the queue and stopping as there is no resource for first in queue)
