Thought to share the following : I noticed while playing RE latest version, on a jungle planet where I found a deposit of the custom new ore Tungsten that if I mine this one the SV I am using does not get re-positioned. Of course testing on the same planet a default ore deposit i.e. Promethim, the reposition occurs still. In the following save game link I have left the SV positioned underground over the Tungsten deposit while mining. Save game link
