Feedback Required Adding Extra Keybinds

    Hello,

    I hope there isn't a thread for this already, nor that I missed this setting in-game somehow but...

    Could we add extra keybinds for keyboard/mouse for the following:
    Thrusters
    Pilot-Mode
    Turrets

    (My keybinds)
    We have shield (J), we have power (Y), and we have Auto-break (I) which are plenty helpful to be effiecient. But what I'd like most is to have the auto-pilot keybind as I prefer to mine without it but in battles I need it to follow a ship without lifting up the mouse fifty times haha. Thrusters would be useful to quickly save on power (without turning off main power and thus the fridge). And the Turrets can be helpful to prevent it from shooting wreckages that don't need to be fired at.

    Then on top of this, which probably is an overkill, but having shortcut keybinds for the custom stuff too. So could switch between self-made signals. Some might be visual benefits, and some might benefit for role players, but for me I'd like to have the ability to switch between all turrets and only a few turrets. For example, I don't want to use laser turrets for the small ships as they don't have shields anyway and is just wasting pentaxid.

    Pilot mode already has a keybind of Shift + I. What's interesting is that technically it's Shift + [auto_brake] so if you do like I did and bind auto brake to a side mouse button then pilot mode becomes Shift + that button. Quite handy to toggle on quickly for making wide turns.

    I absolutely agree with this suggestion. Having to access the control panel to turn on/off devices when we already made signals for them is time consuming and most of the time impractical on MP servers where you even have massive delay when opening the panel. even having a shortcut on the hotbar would be helpful since is mostly empty

    Please let us bind P window main/custom/signal switches to keyboard for craft we're flying.

    I use the scripting mod to get around most of this

    Thrusters, radar and main guns auto turn on when I hop in the cockpit (and all turn off when I exit the seat)
    It also checks if in space or a planet,
    If planet, the up thrusters stay on, unless landing gear is down

    Having them instance power up and down saves a lot of power.

    Just wish the mods I use to 'fix' base game stuff was instead PART of the base game

    -Empyrion Scripting Mod (allows real time info in LCD screens)
    -Empyrion Navigator Mod (tells you which stars to jump to, to get to target star system based on your max warp range)
    -Empyrion Passenger Mod (allows a player to log out in a passenger seat and auto moved to the ships current location when they log back in, if the pilot moved the ship)
