Lost Eden project What was before UCH? What happened to the people who did not take the UCH to Proxima Centauri? Lost Eden is a scenario project in several chapters that aims to provide answers to these questions. Lost Eden is the name given to the planet by survivors of climate disaster, war and the Dark Age. 2065 stop all space project and recall all external Astronauts. (Not all come back) 2085 the year of climate disasters, the coastal regions are flooded and destroyed, millions died 2086 Breaking wars and falling atomic bombs, the beginning of the end, millions died 2100 Historians refer to this as the beginning of the Dark Age. Chapter I 2202 AD: You start on a contaminated earth. A desolate world with few resources and few survivors. Find the last survivors and what remains of technology. Warlords and pirates threaten the survivors . Your knowledge is limited and in the end you will find further knowledge . This is the beginning of Chapter 2. Hope you like it. ----------------------------------------------------------- Chapter II 2487 AD: (Redesign WIP) 2473 The Phoenix Fleet takes off from Saturn's moon Titan. The departure is successful. 2475 The fleet still hasn't returned and hasn't sent any news. There is resistance and resentment against the UCH among the population. Some provinces rebel and accuse the UCH of treason. The previous cohesion of humanity is beginning to crumble. Uprisings and declarations of independence follow. Two new political organizations will be founded. The NR as a New Republic and the PA as a Patriotic Alliance. In 2487 the UCH headquarters was attacked and robbed. The supposedly spontaneous action of angry citizens dissatisfied with the UCH's policies culminates in the removal of all administration documents in unmarked trucks. The UCH provinces feel threatened and are demanding full clarification. There is a threat of war with the two rebelling power blocs. Those left behind have started a new project to colonize a planet. But they are still looking for UCH's technology. The Gaia Initiative decides to reactivate the Scout Commander to clarify the situation. He should also drive forward the Neuland project. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter III ?? AD: (WIP) The UCH started the Phoenix project and has disappeared. Was the Neuland project successful? The time will tell.
Date : 2200-08-24 You were revived as a scout commander in an emergency event, as the facility was about to fail. The base had been ransacked long ago, but the cryo facility and cloning chamber remained intact. Years later, the power supply became unstable and the control AI triggered the Emergency Event. The information of the AI about the current information was incomplete. The plant was damaged. The damage has been repaired and a partial restoration has been carried out. Materials and equipment were collected. The survivors of the disaster were sought and found. - The habitat with hydro garden nearby - The extended habitat with hydro garden and traders. - The settlement of the biologists - The Seed Vault with sapling seeds has been found. These were the cooperative survivors working on a build-up of civilization. Then there were the mutants in the radioactive ruins of the bombed cities. The city towers of the warlords who live from plundering the ruins and robbing the habitats. The many ruins of habitats are a testament to this. The colonies, with remnants of military organizations, trade with the habitats but are hostile to any stranger. The IASA Control Center, the former headquarters of the IASA is just a bombed radioactive ruin with crazy mutants. An intact military base controls half the planet with its drones. Right next to it is the active launch pad for rockets. An IMS capsule could be taken over here after being liberated by a commando action.
Some of the imagery in here is pretty awesome. I wonder why scenario showcases don't get more visibility. I mean the good independently created ones like this?
The Chapter 2 has a redesign because i am unsatisfied with story. It take some time to create a new forward story. I found it. See the new Chapter 2. It last after the start of the Phoenix Fleet. Those left behind have started a new project to colonize a planet. But they are still looking for UCH's technology. Lost Eden II is now based on Reforged Eden and now features a galaxy based on the Milky Way. But it's definitely not a simulation!
