External power source

Would it make sense to allow a docked vehicle to use the power source of the entity it is docked to?

E.g. when I dock my ship to the station I'd like to be able to connect it to the station's power grid.

 

I actually like this idea a lot.
It's not a game changer or anything, but it's neat.

 

I would like that, yea. Allow ships to run on shore power, so when a capital ship is docked at a space station or landed you can keep the lights on without having to burn fuel.
