- Advanced Gravity Generator that has a configurable cube shaped area of influence. - CV solar panels.
- gravity generator with configuration - constructor controller to give orders to a group of constructors - short range jump drive (moves ship 3km - 40km forward, with input for range or jump to way point (like in another unnamed game))
Or even just the ability to extend them or not... I hate it when I'm flying near a station or wreckage and the landing gears keep going out...
Ironically stuff like this is overlooked all too often, one of the many mindblowingly petty rants I had with my screen while playing Elite Dangerous was while landed planetside, and how my Imperial Clipper would all too frequently ballance on one leg (even larger 2g+ planets) so much so that it made finding the right spot for screenshots in those 'oh so special' places difficult... it plucked me away from the fantasy I'd immersed my self in. So yeah, it would be nice, but how deep would the leg or pad go? and would we expect a footprint?
1. Decos with cargo capacity to be accessible as cargo boxes -or- 2. Smaller cargo boxes for CV P.s. cudo for solar panels+capacitor for CV
How about a more complex elevator block that's enclosed on four sides, an airtight door on the fifth side, and open on the last? It would come in both straight and elbow shapes.
multiple switches block for a base and a cv. a switch takes half a meter in a sv and a hv but two metres in a cv or a base. i can place 16 switches on the same area in a sv or a hv that is taken by one switch on a large block, this is ridiculous. at least having up to 4 in a row will be good enough.
and a touchbar similar to a switch but that can be bounded to any "general" or "custom" device group with autochanging red-yellow-green status on it and that can be interacted to switch it to red or green like in the P menu but via a device on a wall.
These are some additions I'd like to see Add 30 degree railing for the 30/60 blocks Mannigan's for armor displays -copies armor and then you can move in different poses. Weapon wall displays 1 and 2 displays Weapon single displays in display cases copied with maybe info panel or on display info. Spot light block that rotates in 15 degree increments Painted blocks that blink.
Detector turrets. It's just a one block turret with a detector for a weapon. Non-piloting crew can use them to keep an eye out for threats and opportunities. Might even be good for BAs.
A few things that currently don't exist hit me when constructing a small base template... 1: Double railings and Windows, like the double walls. 2: Gates, they would be useful for compounds and 'non door' entries. 3: Double width Doors, (central door blocks that are two blocks wide) A difficult one here... 4: Water blocks for contained areas like pools.
1. flat/wide thrusters 2. taller, 2+ block height, retractable landing gear 3. cargo lift like boarding ramp (instead of inclined ramp, lift up/down instead)... and tall, 2+ block height 4. reduce cockpit 7's mass, maybe 650 5. 2 block height version of cockpit 3 but front glass width full 3 blocks wide, not tapered 6. more angled CV heavy window 7. glass only SV window, no frames 8. extended/longer boarding ramp after opening. Opens then extends out double the length (may not be possible) 9. nicer lift block, still 4 corners but triangular tubing instead of current square tubing. Or multi block maybe - one wall on one side, two walls opposing side, 3 wall surround (u-shape). can be textured/painted.
I got another one! Invisible light sources, (like the Bethesda CK ones) where like game generated grass/plants they can be placed anywhere without using the 8 cubic meter space. We can, with the aid of the texture tool, paint faux light strips and with the proposed Invisible light source we'll be able to illuminate smaller and awkward areas.
More ramps. For the "flat" (-_ ) orientation, some 'higher' ones, also with different widths. Recently I was missing a 4w x 6-8l x 5h ramp for my SV (where doors can be either, 2 or 3 width.
Add the structural ramps from Reforged Eden as regular Blocks. Would make conversions from RE to Vanilla easier and you could even make them texturable to make the RE crowd happy.
remove the cap level in lcd's. I sometimes need 3 lcd's for the content. And make them real HTML . So we can have more options in text style, or maybe even a scrolling text and are able to make a real changing things. Add the possibility to texture/color every side of every block and let us be able to rotate the texture more than 90° in only one direction. This would make the texturing of buildings so much more easy and would open up a huge world of possibilities with textures we can't use on some blocks.
Factory device This is really more of a concept than just a simple device addition. The magical Factory in player's backpack feels very out of place. Please, consider replacing it with a factory device. Generally, one would build a factory device, place it in the world and start feeding it resources in similar fashion as we do the factory now. The device interface could look very similar to what we have with the Portable Constructor. Once all the resources are loaded, a button to Spawn the blueprint would become available. My apologies if this was suggested before, there are tons of reading in the suggestions section and I didn't have time to scan it all.
