Yes yes, I know, Elyion says GFN is not a supported platform. It should be. I've (for other reasons entirely) standardized on macOS and ... seriously I have great gaming experiences, and more, using GFN or Shadow.tech GFN ... when the VM launches, you get the Steam app ... but you can't fiddle with it to change the needful to make BETA settings be respected, or even Workshop items, because .. Modding would allow *bad things* to happen potentially. I can understand nVidia's position here. But ... seems like a little fiddling and I could make *another* launcher that that a Steam YAML file that specified *Empyrion Beta=Experimental Branch* and it will not cause risk to all the things nVidea wants to protect. Anyone else out there have insights into fiddling with GFN? I mean, on vanilla 1.8.8 I get AWESOME performance on GFN, on any device I own, including a 2014 mac mini (1050, max quality, 60fps) or my 2015 mbp ... ray tracing .. etc. Seriously this is the future of gaming and Elyion needs to be part of it.
PS I'm selling a *pristine* 2021 Lenovo Legion 5 pro 16" with a GTX3060 and a 144Hz 1440 display on ebay for $1300 USD with extras. Will cut a deal for an Empyrion player. Play to Crush! Orig box, bag, two chargers, dock and the freakin sticker.
Empyrion devs didn't add it to GFN though. That was Nvidia that claims it is supported when it isn't. So since by the devs own words they aren't supporting GeForce Now, that means any issues with it have to be taken up with Nvidia. If you happen to have the games log files showing the error, AND that error happens to be reproducible on the correct supported devices, then it might get fixed. However, if that error is specific to GFN, or you are unable to supply log files, then there isn't much that can be done (or will be at this point in time). So if you have the correct log files in order for the error to be looked into (and it can be reproduced on the correct devices) then file a proper bug report and supply said log files.
