    Hey all,

Thought this might be an amusing thread to create, so, if you're interested, add your own "Don't you hate it when..." comments. Nothing too serious please, not talks about bugs - unless the outcome is amusing - not here to be overly critical, more to laugh at myself. Anyway...

Don't you hate it when you're exploring a POI you've done before but you find multiple loot containers you missed the last time you did this POI - the the loot is good! The realisation on what I potentially missed out on is... irksome lol, especially as I was both materially and equipment poorer back then.

This happened to me with the "Abandoned Assembly Yard" POI. A few days ago, I did this POI and struggled, but I wanted to do it legitimately. Got some good loot from it but, as I just realised, missed a few goodies. When I came across the POI again on a new planet - one I was just visiting to mine some Pentaxid - I did it a somewhat cheesier way as I know where the Core was located. Upon exploring it once it was Cored, I must have been paying much more attention as I found multiple really good Loot containers containing game-changing stuff. I totally missed these - likely due to fatigue - the prior time I did this.

Now, I could go back to the prior POI, but it's several systems away and I cannot quite remember exactly which planet in that system it was.

One of the pitfalls of multiplayer is the occasional disconnect. It's a real downer to core an enemy ship, get ready for good salvage, and boom disconnect. It doesn't happen often but when it does, you lose your loot because the ship disappears. I know why it does, but it's still no fun losing your loot and ammo use to a disconnect. That's life though.

I take the turrets off of a POI, and come back with a brand new (untested) looting craft. I fight my way past some enemies, open up the first cargo box ..... and only then realize I forgot to put a wireless connection on my looting craft. I ALWAYS forget the wireless connection :D

I can usually make one on the spot, but I still smack my head every time.

I just did this! I have an HV design - actually one of my very first from 2016 - that I've evolved over the years. Now, in it's Mk III trim, it's a shielded tough (armoured) HV with a Mining Turret and single Minigun. Great little vessel. However, while it's aimed at mining, it also has decent cargo for such a compact HV. As such, I brought it along to help loot a POI - could have used the CV, chose not to - only then did I noticed it had no Wifi. Back to the CV, Wifi build, hole made in HV to take Wifi, hole patched up and finally the HV is complete lol.
