    • Added 17 new blockshapes (17); First addition/icons missing. You can find the new blockshapes by checking for missing slots and white blanks on the Cubes-, Round- and Connector- tabs OR hover over the seemingly empty slots on the 2nd page of the "basic shapes" tab

    Woohoo - more blocks is always good ... any chance we could have this as a regular section of large updates?

    More blocks more better! As far as feedback, what about looking at the blocks that RE is adding and just officially add those?? Also, can work be done on the texture issues that many blocks have where you can't texture all side separately or that all blocks can't use all textures?

    This is a technical limitation and not easy changed

    Interesting choices. Thank you for the green blocks. I have been hoping for those. The red are intriguing and new. Great overall mixture of needed and new for a first round. Will check them all out for technical issues.

    I think I'll be and to find a good use for literally all of those. The two yellow ones on the ends are shapes I'm missing on a build I've been working on right now.

    Agreed, more blocks are always good. Can we get some more window shapes though? I'd love to have some 1x3, 2x3, and 3x3 shapes. Oh and larger hanger doors, ramps, and configureable forcefields
    heh.

    Also can we please make all glass doors airtight since windows are airtight?

    Here are some feedback with technical issues I have seen:

    This block has a side with a transparent texture. You can't paint it with some thing else either.

    This elbow curve pipe default texture has this white line on it. Reapplying the texture moves the line between several options, but dose not go with this texture.

    These end curve pieces cause the block they are touching to have a transparent face.

    Small gap in between these blocks (the curves).

    In this block you can see a distortion. changed color to green to see it better. The distortion can change depending on the angle you are looking with.

    Hope this is the kind of feedback you were looking for.

    Nice to see you have added blocks 1,2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10,11,12,14,15,17,19,20,21 from my 1st block suggestion video. :)

    Just a thought, but having non-airtight doors is important for controlling power usage as ventilators use a fair amount of power. I'd like to be able to use some of the glass doors airtight as well, but lots of existing BPs and POIs would get "why can't I breath in here- why are my plants dead" impacted if they changed this. Making "airtight" a configurable boolean for door/ramp device blocks in the same way that the "NPC triggers" bit is implemented/displayed would be more flexible for designers while still supporting backward compatibility.

    JRandall posted a video after reviewing the new blocks. I'll drop the link here in case he doesn't mention it himself:


    His main issues are texture alignment/face assignment and some fundamental geometry issues with the curved blocks where they don't have the same edge definition as other blocks so they leave small gaps between them.

    Like the new block shapes - love the lava and water blocks! For the lava, I'm sure you are aware, it acts & looks like water as you walk through it - should hopefully get its own look, sound and much higher viscosity! But great job! One last request - could the lava effect be added on all sides of the lave so a cool lava wall effect could be created?

    I like the water blocks. They could use some variations in block heights like half and quart block sizes.

    The lava blocks I'm not so happy with. They look more like glowing blood then lava...

    As a concept these are great, the implementation could use some work.
