What's the conversion rate of game time to real time supposed to be? According to the output of the 'stats' command, I'm getting about 22.52 hours game time per 1 hour real time. That's a strange conversion rate, like I'd expect either 24 for the standard day length, or 25 hours for a human day length.

Why don't all devices that show game time, like auto miners, show the units of time (so we can now if it's days:hours or hours:minutes or whatever) and the real time as well? An auto miner runs for about 56 hours when stuffed with fusion cells, so you again need a calculator to figure out when to check on it because the registry doesn't show that status like it should ...

Is there a way to make game time pass same as real time (and to tune the devices like auto miners to produce the same amount of stuff per hour real time as they do now)? Why even make game time pass faster to begin with, it doesn't make sense to do that, especially when running a server.

    72 realtime minutes = 24h in-game

    You cant change this mechanic

Thanks! That's such on odd rate, how did you come up with that?

It really should be changeable ... And it's confusing, like when a constructor says it'll take a minute, at that rate, it should actually take 3 seconds, but it doesn't. So that can't be right ...

Are we supposed to keep a spreadsheet on our 2nd monitors to figure out how long it takes before we can go back to each autominer to compute when it's storage is full and how much fuel we should put in to run it most efficiently? I think that needs to be shown in the registry, in real time ... Would that hurt?

All of the timers you mentioned are already in real time.

Are you sure the timers of autominers are real time?

    Yes, I am "sure".
I mean, you can watch it in real time so...

Hm, yes, you can watch them counting. If that's true, it's even more confusing. I keep them fueled for either 12--15 hours, or between 56 and 14 hours when fully filled, depending on the class of the miner. I'm about to recycle the T1 ones and to replace them with T3, and the T3s run only 14 hours.

In any case, when I come back to them, they're out of fuel, and I'm pretty sure it hasn't been 56 hours. That would be 2.33 days of playing 24/hours per day --- or 4 days when playing 14 hours per day --- and I'm pretty sure I haven't done that before coming back to them.

If game time is 1440 vs. 72 minutes, the autominers would run 42 minutes, or almost 3 hours. That would make sense to me.

It would all be so much easier if this were shown in the registry. Otherwise I'd need to set up a server, but since I can't convert my current game, that's not a good option.

Perhaps I can set a stop watch for half an hour or so and check. But who knows if they work game time instead of real time when nobody is around to look?
