Hey everyone, i hope the question wasn't asked several times before, couldn't find it through search. i wanted to show empyrion to a friend of mine yesterday, so we wanted to start a server. My PC is way stronger, so we planned on making it the Server too. i know, this worked before, cause i've done it with another friend, but i found no way to make the server appear in the joinable list for my friend, no matter if i used the EmpyrionDedicated.cmd in steamapps/common or started a co op in the empyrion menu. Did the Devs change anything about the Dedicated Server Tool from Steam? Is there any way left to use my PC as a server like i did before, or would we have to rent one or use the official ones? Edit: i can reach the game using my PC's IP, but that wouldn't work for my friend, cause she's not in my network^^ but i can't find it in the Server list either. Thanks everyone, Bjoern
CooP will not be shown up in the list, this is disabled. Friends need to be invited from the Steam Friends List. Its not meant for 24/7 running but just for a play sesion. You would need to install the Dedicated Server from Steam Tools, forward the ports in both your router and windows firewall
