Im back in space with a dedicated Steam CMD server. EAH is still working in parts but for latest version it do not use the correct dedicated.yaml it seems. Is there gonna be an update for the tool to latest version of Empyrion or is there another tool used these days? The lines missing I can see is: Srv_Public: true EACActive: false MaxAllowedSizeClass: 0 I also seems to get some errors for crateing world that I dont see when start server manual.
EAH on our servers has no issue with reading the dedicated.yaml EAH has options for all the mentioned properties for years already
Still when I use EAH it changes and compress the original dedicated.yaml and remove those lines. But that is maby a feature and they are not needed in that file? This 3 is insert via notepad and EAH is then removing them again Srv_Public: true EACActive: false MaxAllowedSizeClass: 0
Lines that are removed are using default settings. No need to have those in the file So f.ex if you have no password and save with EAH, it will remove the password field as default is null Counts for all properties in the dedicated.yaml and gameoptions.yaml You only need to list what you change (non default settings) Its not an EAH feature, it works the same if you modify it by notepad++
I got this today when started server with EAH. Dont know if it affects the game or if I need to do something about it. We play Emyrion with Reforged Eden 2 (both updated to latest versions). 2025-12-02 12:01:08 Attention, the playerfile-version has changed. EAH might need an update. Current File Version: Header 33 - File 45
Sounds like you are using an outdated EAH Make sure you use EAH 1.62.0.0 We have no such error with the latest version
Im sorry I have 1.61.5.0...Thats the latest official download that I can see on https://eah.empyrion-homeworld.net/download/patch-notes-emp-admin-helper-full Where can I find EAH 1.62.0.0 please?
The website is no longer update due to the passing of our co-worker and developer of the tool You get the latest version with the Dedicated Server tool on Steam Tools
