More to come, I feel that for some reason the Eleon teams work isn't getting the praise it deserves, I looked up the 'best space games' and none gave a shout to EGS, and one site listed 150 on steam and I didn't even see Empyrion on the list, (and there was some rope form the 90s that made it in) the occasional Reddit posts are mostly less than flattering, it makes me wonder if someone at Eleon p!ssed in the wrong persons coffee, because this is such a massive game thanks in no small part to you guys modifying it, I wouldn't have three and a half thousand hours at it if it were! I stopped playing Elite D after 2000 hours as an update totalled my settings that had evolved, and I realised that I simply couldn't be bothered to go through it again for such little gameplay reward. Not so with EGS, I've restarted this game so many times (hundreds) each and every time I start I'm just as eager to progress until death takes hold, and I start again, I usually just laugh at my foolishness for failing to see that coming or being so dumb as to try to make the move without a plan, though I must admit that it galls me to have the wrong medicen on day one and die from bellyache Many of the dungeons are excellent, occasionally I get to see one or two too often and know how to run them, and I especially like to take them over and make a homebase. The Missions and side quests are good but too few, (I think if I knew how I'd fire up some myself, as I've done a few go fetch quests for Bethesda games) there could be large and small go fetch quests with unique rewards for varying ship sizes, notice boards could service a pile as well as talking one to one, but one thing that I feel puts a bit of a block on that is that there isn't a notebook/journal that records a mission through to completion as such for those small jobs, and unless you've made a pen and paper note of who wants what and where they are you don't do the guy that asked for the stuff but the next one you come across. I'm just hoping that the guys can get some stellar publicity soon, it worked for Hello Games (I tried that once and was dissapointed) and sorry Chris Roberts... I don't do online only mmo's no matter how good my mate says it is!
