It would be such a nice quality of life feature if you could lock your backpack inventory slots. This would save so much time from having to sort and resort your backpack. The "transfer all" button would then would be so much more useful grabbing/transferring everything while keeping what you want onhand.

Would love to see something like Factorios system to lock spots in any container to a certain item.

I hate to be a party pooper for any suggestion, but, this sort of helping hand would only serve to hurry and rush the game and it's gameplay, allowing players to snatch all from chests and bodies is a step too close to 'wham bam thankyou mam' anyway*, having it all sorted on it's way in to the backpack shortens the overall gaming time even further, the Minecraft magnet like grab all as you walk past might be the next suggestion...
In general, I find that things that force me to stop and think about what I'm doing are precious for gameplay longevity, and arranging things in my backpack in an order that I choose is important as it allows me to easilly access meds or 'other' as I need, it also passes time while waiting for something to cook/heal/whatever, it does however force me to 'springclean' often.

But if it was a selectable option then 'yeah' of course, and good for those that want it.

Having said that I'd like the button that allows us unlimited weight and volume to provide 'scrollable' unlimited backpacks and containers...and saddlebags/paniers for the gravbike

    * Yes, I'm guilty of abusing this feature more than I'd care to admit... as I do with the weight and volume limits:p
