Hi PDA (F1), [Tutorial] tab: regarding the various "Message Archive ", the counter in parentheses is always at zero (see picture) Reply from Taelyn: Not a bug, Counter only shows available missions, green is completed and will not show in the counter Thank to Taelyn Regarding my previous post, these aren't missions but archives, and shouldn't the counter display the current number of archived messages? I never see those counters in the [TUTORIAL] tab with a value, but always at zero. Thanks
They are MISSIONS. There is NO such thing in the pda as a message archieve. How this is done is the regular missions are made and they contain that The tech simply isnt supporting an official arhieve
So perhaps the three categories "Message Archive" displayed in the picture (New action available - tutorial - interfaces) shouldn't be called "Message Archive"... On the other hand, can you explain this to me ? : I tested the archive (mission) "Ready to craft: Bandages" (in the picture) before and after validation (when the message is displayed in the "PDA log"), and at no point did I see the counter increment. Ive told you already how it work and why it doesnt work for a mission archieve. Mission archives are completed missions They dont count. it ONLY counts AVAILABLE missions that are NOT completed Same that it will NOT count completed missions are are added to a faction like in my screenshot. It simply will NOT count those.
Copy that. Perhaps then you should just remove the display of those counters associated with the archive sections (the counters shown in the picture). Thanks a lot
Currently not possible, there normal category like anything else. The PDA doesnt make a difference in a "message archieve" and a normal mission category Then the tech it self needs to be changed and support for a message arhieve needs to be added or a flag on a category to not show the counter
