Apologies if this is the wrong place for this inquiry. For the past half-hour or so I've been trying to log into the Official NA Server. I was able to log in for a minute or two, then the connection fails, and I'm disconnected. It was working just fine earlier in the day, so I assumed there were issues with the server as nothing on my end has changed. I was just trying to get back to my base for a safe logout. However, after several attempts (Log in, disconnect, repeat), I now see a message that I'm banned from the server for the next 8ish hours? Can someone explain why I got banned? I wasn't cheating or using any exploits. I was the victim of a bad connection or a bad server. Appreciate your attention. Thank you!
Every tuesday to wednesday night (Europe Time) steam is doing maintenance and this means you cant login in the game If you are online already then it will stay working If you try this to much within a short period of time the game things you are hacking and it will ban you for it What you should do is simply wait for steam to finish its maintenance instead of keep trying to login
I just tried to log in again and realized the ban is for a whole year. Which seems excessive and unreasonable. How do I go about getting the ban lifted?
I lifted it the first time already when you asked about it But done it now another time Its done since its an anti cheater mechanic as i explained. Real cheaters should be banned and not short so they can try again
