Because I was being lazy, I browsed the Steam forums a bit and found that 333 Akua is the laziest/easiest start ever. Drops you right on the Titan mid section and all basic resources are between 400-600m away

Try 123456789 on omicron. nice bunch of ressourcenodes, a poi to plunder nearby and also 2 lakes with algae and blue crystals.
i find the 333- one on akua quite amusing. no drones. But every other seed i found with parts of the spaceship, allways there where drones, 1-2, and sometimes even more around guarding ores etc. (same distance as on 333).
There are actually a crapload of drones if you build a base instead of using the Totan as a shelter. Plus, I found, if you attack any POI every drone attack that didn't happen on schedule, happens within about five minutes (but with no warnings about your base being attacked).
Seed 818 in the latest version, excellent resources and terrain has lots of flat areas, Akua. Also strangely corndogs grow in a field over a mountain in bunches, I counted like 30+ in one area.
Agreed. I've also noticed Alien Plasma T6 Plants in bunches on a hillside & hilltop & nowhere to be seen anywhere else as well. I think it is a side effect of the "Biomizing" of stuff, guess it wasn't just for Creatures after all.
I tried today seed 300416 on Akua Prometium, Cobalt, Copper and Magnesium nearby. Also a titanium section not too far away. Magnesium at the shore of a lake. For edible plants I had to search a little, but they are there.
12345678 iron and a couple other minerals near your landing zone but just north of that and all clustered together are the back and middle of the Titan and an Epsilon mark 1 base. if you are looking for a challenge give this seed a shot.
Man, I don't know if it was a recent update but when I try 333, there were drones swarming the Titan section I landed near. I plopped a core, survival constructor, and a generator inside in between waves of Crogs and their pets arriving by troop transport. They eventually stopped coming after 4-5 transports full, but in that time I'd reached level 8 just shooting them dead mostly with their own ammo - pistol rounds from the drones and halfway through I crafted an AR to use some of the rifle ammo the Crogs drop. By the end I had tons of canned goods and medicinal stuff too. Was hectic, but a decent start, really... I also ended up in several seeds where the escape pod spent more time rolling down a mountain than flying towards it.

This was my experience as well. Great fun. If 333 didn't give you Saving Private Ryan in Space, try reloading.
Ive just recently started seed 4398497 on Akua It has pretty decent amount of resources nearby ( Iron / Promethium / Magnesium ) A nice large island in the middle of a lake, closest POI is a Epsilon Fortress MKI, be careful of this one early on in the game.
