What I think, is that the Cockpit 5 works best as a HV Cockpit & the Cockpit with the Cockpit Window partially in the floor is still the best SV Cockpit cause that Window partially in the Floor is SO useful for seeing below ya for stuff & for landing easier.
I keep finding myself going back to that one for SV. What I also keep trying to use, is the darn 2-wide cockpit... but I have the darndest time working in 'even numbers' for a craft...... I gotta build with ODD!

*Notes how ya mounted your Rocket Launchers* Umm... dude, that's an awfully dangerous thing to do having Blocks beside the Rocket Launcher sticking out like that. If ya turn as ya fire, those Rockets might accidentally hit your own Hull before they can clear that hazard & ya will end up with Self Damage.
Well I did give it a significant amount of testing in motion forwards, backwards, strafing sideways, and turning all at the same time and never had an issue, but I'll definitely keep an eye on it. Thanks for the feedback!
I seem to be on a bit of a roll here... Introducing the FSB-39 Nebula Kite Light Bomber: Steam Workshop link: Click Here!
Holy buggers! This looks so good I half expect to see Chewie sitting in the Driver Seat/Cockpit! (I would NOT wanna ride in this dude with Han at the wheel instead. Chewie's smarter then him imho. )
My name is Mr. Badger and I approve this message. That cockpit is SO cool looking but, unless you add to the starter blocks, it sits kinda wonky.
We'll get to that... However, until that time I give you: FSH-41 Nova Comet Heavy Fighter: Steam Workshop link: Click Here!
I don't think I ever posted this here but the closest I got to making something I was somewhat happy with using that cockpit (like most of you I'm more comfortable with odd-number block designs) was what I called my Falcata Interceptor for planet use: That was before Alpha, before the introduction of 2x1 blocks too
Slightly better view: I may have to revisit the design now we have more blocks and texture stuff to play with, I think I could improve on it some
I was going to bed... You people have to stop putting ideas in my head on a work night! F-37 Falcata Mk II Interceptor Ignore the checkered background, I haven't finished building the underside of this yet and that's what I use when I'm building
