Are you serious? Swords are proper fighting weapons. Axes are just tools that woodsmen use Next you'll try telling me that a Hammer is a sophisticated weapon Heh been doing some Skyrim'ing as well, my latest character was an Argonian "samurai," wherein I console commanded in two Katanas, put him in heavy armor I found, and usually went with 1-hand, no shield for fighting. I typically keep difficulty set to Legendary because I need the challenge (My highest level guy is level 64, Imperial named Artencio. I got an attempt done, but was disappointed in it, I didn't even Upload it to the Workshop. I submitted it to my Clan Boss, WarMachine, but never got a response, so i'm taking that as the Response & operating on the assumption that the Design is indeed a total failure.

Not quite finished yet hence the slightly different angle on the screenshot (so you can't see I haven't done the underside yet!) but here's my coming-shortly heavy bomber to complete the Terrastar SV lineup: Ten rocket launchers and three laser cannons, but it's pretty sluggish compared to the others as a tradeoff
Thanks I'm fairly certain (as with so many things) it's a feature I saw somewhere else and ended up mixing into my ideas (consciously or otherwise), so feel free to steal whatever ideas you see

New project: Micro CV .... The overall look, is done... all rooms, are ready for paint and occupation... some, needs some extra lovin, to make them look nice :S Goal: Create a nice CV, working for survival, that isnt too claustrophobic, nor too expensive, to use and fabricate. NOT taking levels into consideration, as once a player is ready for a CV, the current leveling rate, should make this ship viable, way before an actual need for it, rises.... No clue, where to place forward facing guns though.... them you can fire from cockpit :S ... (non turreted) ..... But so far.... other than a need for water and O2 resource, this thing has it all... even a hangar LOL
Some of those non-turret CV guns are very very BIG. You'd have to run a missile launcher down the entire length of that ship to put that on! The minigun is pretty darn spanky, I love those, very good on defense patrol AI control.
Miniguns, aint supposed to work on planets :S ... so, not building under the condition, they will fix them as intended :S ... Mounted arms, are THAT big ? ..... one shot, and it would blow itself back out to space LOOOL .... Oh well... on with the sharings ... bed time for me :S
I was going to go to bed but I didn't want to end the day without starting something new now I finished my first SV lineup, so... Designed purely as a local space gunboat so no warp drive or weapons that work in atmosphere. Voidhawk next to it is for size comparison. And yes, you can see through the cockpit because I haven't filled in the underside yet, need to leave a way in so I can do the internal area first!
Ya wanna put the CV Manual Fire Weapons as in front of your Cockpit as possible so that your Crosshairs can try to still be of some use for aiming them.
So, the design, has been completed... Primary design goal: Create a CV, the is small, without being claustrophobic, and, functionality as of that of a base. Secondary goal: Make it compact enough, to serve as mining outpost, with defenses. Both goals achieved Once again, i run into a huge issue, where my HV, bounces WAY over the entrance floor, and ends up on the roof... simply, cant get it in there :S Then again, with a CV, like this one, my needs for both a HV and a SV, has diminished greatly Planetary powerconsumption, is at 81% while boasting 2 T2 RCS units, and 6 generators. I can live with that, as this little skittle, is affordable to build, and serves extremely well as a movable base STILL a bucketload of painting and decorating to do, but, it is usable, as it stands.... boring as watching drops drop, but, functional WARNING!! opening the spoiler, serves you a nice dish, of a LOAD of pictures..... consider yourself warned... Oh, .. thats my Sv cargo "truck" i parked in the hangar... Spoiler: Wall o' Pictures Not even sure i want manual weapons on it :-/
