I am running a 1.4 server with 7 players and we are ready to add planets. 1. Does a tutorial exist? 2. can I add planets without a wipe? 3. can I control the contents of existing planets?
great stuff! thanks for the tutorial. so I guess the next question is. If I stop my server and add a planet and start it again will my existing game still work or will that force a new game from scratch?
It should still work. At least it worked fine in pre-alpha. I would make a backup of course, but that's just standard practice anyway.
Actually, I'm trying to add a planet like I did in the pre-alpha version of the game and now the game keeps crashing. It won't even let me start. I'm having the "An internal error occured!." message. Please help. We need more planets.
