Hi, well I thought it worked as well, I've seen some working on Pyrite so I assumed there was no problem with offline protection and I wasn't off more then 6 h so not sure what went wrong, either case the issue is not solved with a password as @Crazyfly is part of red v blue for some time now. I would say that Easy Anti Cheat" (EAC) would probably be better at preventing offline protection cheats.
- I like the "sportsmanship" thing. - I like the "do not attack vessels of players not online." BUT I do not like: - password protected server, as this will hinder the flow of new members. - always warning enemies that I'm gonna attack them, if I feel an ambush is needed I'll do it. but yeah it's not forbidden just frowned upon. Well now we know who did it.. I were planning to go ballistic on GMT - reason I spotted gmt member Killi(something) accidently leaked info about gmt attacking RGC with a juggernaut vessel - sadly I forgot to screenshot it so didn't have the needed evidence to take it out on anyone. Also: - you cannot be held accountable for the defects of the offline protection. - I dig spontaneous pvp but not against offline players, so here I'm torn. there's no cheat involved - I wanted to retaliate for what happened to you, but as it's a defect in the offline protector - I'll have a hard time convincing myself and the others that this was done to provoke us or in any way as an direct attack on RGC (also since it wasn't visible as being an RGC ship) I'm torn I really am.
@Furian - I honestly don't think we'll ever password lock the server. And yeah I agree on the ambuahing point so I removed it from the title post. I guess it's okay as long as the ship is manned, the idea was mainly to make sure, before you fire, that it is manned. But in many circumstances it's unnecessary.
Ok I guess we all learned something with this, @Crazyfly don't go apeshit on other people property if they'r not online, if you want a fight just tag me I'll take you whenever I can, and I've learned not to trust other people wont go ape about your stuff, so it's better leave it at safe places. In addition to recent events: INFO sheet The Furian Collective have gone somewhat silent - building some sort ship for their RGC ally Furian - looks like a highly capable fighter CV. Properly made to do recons and battle enemies who threaten RGC and their allies... leaked recordings and pictures have shown that this vessel is fast and maneuverable as a sv fighter, but with way more firepower and properly well armored. Leaked information will be available soon as we decide wich information we will allow to the public eye. Also there's indications from the field test that The Collective is building some sort of deep space base for Furian, knowing The collective we wouldn't recommend getting near this base when it's delivered.... - maybe there'll be drones as well. I'm torn too about this issue.... The combat in this game is not evolve enough that we can have a fair PvP all the time...which I learned during the Tank war... The issue is you cannot control your turret fast enough...if you kept them deactivated ,you cannot activate them fast enough before enemy turrets chew through your ship..and if you keep them activated..they will do serious damage to other vessel before you can deactivate them...sply in those vessel where there are sooo many devices... so ambush is well and good in theory but then I have to keep my guns always activated and you cannot come near my ship ..sply when I am offline...and accidentally destroy vessels and bases (sply when entering PvP planet it's hard to judge how far I am from a base)...or keep m gun deactivated and get destroyed before I can respond.. EDIT: as for destroying unmarked vessel/base.... I don't think that is a good thing to do unless there is reason behind that... then PvP planets will remain barren and without any activity (which they are now)...and the PvE planets will be overflow with structures...
Your out of the loop because you like a couple others you hang out with are ignoring me, I tried talking to you for 5min last week. 10 min the other day trying to get a straight answer out of Big-Red if he was still planning on going red, and still never got an answer out of him. There is also the issue of our play times, you usually play in the afternoons I play in the mornings. But I do log on in the evenings occasionally to passout info, that's usually the time those on ignore me. I had assumed you where ignoring because you mentioned you might change teams a few pages back and didn't want it to be weird. Currently our faction controls are broken, I have no way other then me to recruit. I can't make officers/admins or nothing. The current goal of GMT is to build personal and faction wealth right now. Our fleet, while nice, is (was) just an escort corvette group and a transport CV, and all we really need. GMT did three events in the last two weeks. If you ignore me, I assume you don't want to participate with GMT as a whole and would just rather play neutral on your own or have another agenda not in faction RP. Edited to add, Darkness and Yami (Darkness.com base) are also part of GMT, they are a husband and wife duo that I allowed to self faction TVI I think) because they wanted private option for their vehicles. And they will be going events with GMT as well.
Sorry I wasn't ignoring anyone. Just trying to get self supporting before committing to anything. I guess I'm moving back into the Hut because my BP blowed up losing everything I had. But RED is a good color YES I say. Count me in.
If you want to join RED then don't make anything in Danube....join the RED, ask you faction mate to pick you up from danube and take you to red home planet...then build your base there
I'm thinking my character should be deleted so I can start over with supplies. Plus I have SV and HV sitting on Danube that need to be destroyed.
I don't want you to leave, but I don't plan to force anyone to stay in the faction if they don't want to. First to me is GMT and Danube, and if you want to go to Red, that is fine by me. I'm just trying to help you become self-sufficient, but its best to do that with the team your planning on playing with. Danube is at its core limit and GMT can't make bases, and players can make ships on the surface. I don't want anyone to leave GMT, but if they aren't GMT or a affiliated neutral group we can't have their bases there. @Navonil Mukherjee, would you be willing to be 2nd in charge on GMT? Sometimes like this weekend things get hectic for me or I end up spending all my playtime fixing bugs and I'll need someone to help out.

Then by all means stay in GMT if you wish, your not in anyway prohibited from playing with other teams. Even when I was Blue I wasn't a fan of drafting anyone to a side, and would prefer them to have fun on the team of their choosing. I have been thinking of asking Broken to add a moon. While I don't want to pester him to add more playfields or adjust his lore, this may be a solution if I enforce a GMT only policy and have members keep their stuff there and let Danube be for any other neutral parties and solo people.

OK GMT it is. Moon hmm hate the dark. Lol I do need resupplied though. Like I said last night my BP blowed up and lost everything. Still have my SV and HV though. SV has constructor and air on board. But I only have drilling tools and a rifle. No ores no food nothing all gone when my old BP failed SI.
