LOL thanks ... remnant of how i did it on the "Sakaala", where it looked WAY cooler actually o.o In the process of painting that last thing... amazing, how much a paintjob does to the sense of size o.o
Oh yeah! I've noticed that the paint and textures do wonders for adding depth and style to something that may otherwise look very simplistic at raw build. I so love the new color and texture tools
the Truar'oth is now available for public use in my workshop. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=676416691
Ok. This thing is super sleek. I modified it a bit for my personal tastes but the base platform you created is a fantastic. I should be spawning it into our server tonight and we'll see how she does in combat
a complete interior overhaul, has just been completed today Just need creators approval before it goes on air
I modified it to be a kind of fast attack CV. But I am going to go through it and find the RCS's and replace them with Tier 2's I think. If they haven't been switched already by Furian.
Hey Furian, before I go pulling the ship apart in Creative do you remember, offhand, how many RCS's the ship has and if they are Tier 2 or not?
Ladies and gentlemen, based on the following post: I give you... "The Fat Man" Ultra-Heavy Bomber! Yep, 20 rocket launchers on an SV-sized ship. I didn't bother texturing or painting as it's basically a mickey-take, but it has given me some development ideas for the future!
Well I'll be using it for basically heavy bombing runs in a PvP server. So I'm going to increase it's rate of motion as best as I can while also increasing the amount of armor and weapon emplacements in certain key areas. Basically its going to be a tool of mass harassment Jump into system, fire LOTS of projectiles, jump out of system. Might also put one of my fast attack dropships on it as well so when I punch the holes in the other ships hull I can deploy some marines to take the CV/Base core.
Redesign of the Truar'oth by Tina Pedersen. Tina approached me, asking if i'd mind if she removed all the interior of my original Truar'oth - nope, didn't mind, told her to go nuts. I had seen a few of her interior designs and were honored she asked me. - mostly the interior but she also did a little exterior modification. - turret and manual weapon slots are empty, so the user can place the weapons of their choosing I really dig this modification of my ship. - and I really do hope she will consider doing this to my Y'laq - She gave me an idea for getting my hangar bay back without compromising her interior design. Project casualties: - SEVERAL textures. - Multiple blocks. - Entire internal design wiped away. - Ship's Hangar, no longer exists. (pondering a fix for that :S ) - Few hull blocks got bashed in to accommodate some peashooters.
