They can't when its been claimed. I tried last time it was taken because it was in the path of jumping in and getting to our home station. Its possible something changed in the last two weeks. Who was it that was getting shot at?
I believe it was Blue. They came around looking to trade blue crystals for iron stacks. Then they said they were being shot at when I told them to come to HQ. Then one of said oppos.
I dunno, every single gun was removed. and they would have had to shoot around other GMT ships. There isn't a way they could have not known it was a GMT base.
I believe it's called the trading base. Is that yours. Or is your base the one with all the big dry docks.
Mine was called R&D. The trade base is for faction use. I set up R&D so other GMT would have a safe place to hide what ever prototypes they make. While I know ion cannons aren't tough to fight, attacking a fractioned base by a opposing members in a safe zone if I recall was a banable offense. Combine the two for privacy.
They did say they were being fired at. Trax and Crazy were in the conversation when we were dealing on crystals. If I had a play list I could pick one out Dominic or something or other. Seam like nice people.
I do wonder how often re-purposed Alien Turrets on PvE worlds actually defend the base from (... honestly not sure what you're defending from? People looking at your ships? If ya wanna be secretive, there is Creative mode...) enemies, instead of shooting down innocent passers-by. Seems to be mostly innocent folks getting shot out of the sky. At least that I've heard of. *Shrug* But I could be wrong, maybe people are constantly swarming your bases, trying to get a look at what ya got going on. Plus there's no rule or anything anyway, soo whatever makes you happy I sure ain't gonna stop you, heh
Yes, because they don't already have enough reasons not to log onto the server already, lets give them more. I really am trying to build the faction that most of them asked for, but I'm not sure that's what they really want and I am running out of reasons myself.

Cause there's no such thing as "Off Duty" for me when it's Mom & I here... add my Dad to the mix who does NOT like my Video Game Playing & my RL is too impossibly unstable to dare risk MPing at all, I CAN'T ask ya'all to game with me & in my Clan's case, rely on me when I can't know when or if Dad will suddenly call me away to do who knows what or just simply get pissed at the fact that i'm playing at that time at all, instead of doing something he wants, like going to bed at a time HE thinks I shoulda, &... that's just plain a damn retarded risk for me to take. Not to mention in this circumstance, how the hell am I supposed to Relax? Then add on top of that that atm, my fav Relatives are visiting... & I DO wanna see them plenty... I hate having a Mental Development Disorder...

Indeed, everyone has a few wires crossed up there somewhere I struggle with a few things like that myself (won't go into detail) but they're things I've been working through and gotten a pretty good handle on. Everybody struggles with something Also, ANNOUNCEMENT! We will be having a PvP event this Sunday on the planet of Ingolstadt! This will be a planet-side battle featuring SVs AND CVs. If you want to fight with it, bring it along! Be warned that this type of combat means your ships will probably get blown up. As such, it's not advisable to bring anything you'd hate to lose. If you have a design you'd like to try, we can create a BP of it and spawn you one for the battle ONLY. A small amount of ammo can be provided, but you will be responsible for providing the majority of the ammo you plan to use! So don't show up empty-handed if you can avoid it! I don't mind spawning a little extra ammo, but just don't expect me to fill all the ammo boxes on your ship for you (Especially considering many ships carry about 10x more ammo than they'd ever need ) We are currently planning to begin rallying around 1:00PM West Coast US (4:00 East Coast US), so log in around that time! If this time ends up being inconvenient (or we have a major lack of players) then we can push the time later into the evening to help accomodate. If you get stranded on Ingolstadt, a server admin will be able to take you back to your Homeworld AFTER the event.

I was just up at the GMT Trade Center. No supplies at all. Garden is just barely started. Only a few plants maybe 6. Amo box's are empty. Don't know if it's planned that way or not. So if nobody cares I will start making more trips and load up supplies for that base as well as finish up the gardens.
