Oh yeah, I forgot about them getting Promoted to Predators even if only during the night. IMHO it'd also make sense if they Pack Hunted too, not sure if that got Implemented or not.
Ive had 2 attack me once. Think it was just luck or unlucky depending on how you view the situation. Normally dont see packs of them, but would love to see 3 or more spawned in the same area
Back in my SP game again. Getting ready to BP in the Tier 2 CV. I looked it over in creative first. A very nice build. If I don't like it. I will just build another one or pull in one of my old builds.
I finished and workshopped my first CV today. I was inspired by a Freightliner truck and made it all space cowboy. Even in the future guys will want a big pick-up truck. I'm back to single player to see if I can gather enough resources to build it, then I'll hit the open galaxy highway with some Jerry Reed on the radio, "East bound and down, loaded up and trucking. We're going to do what they say can't be done!"
IT'S DONE!!! WOOT!!! ^_^ Spoiler: Tyrax Dragon Transport (AKA a CV) Front View: Not sure if I overdid it on pulling back for the Screenie taking. Right Side View: Doh! Forgot to move that other dude outta the Screenie! >_< Rear View: This Screenie contains one of the main reasons for me to build a Personal CV... the HV Hangar. (Though in hindsight it mighta helped if I had lit it up a bit before Screenieing... I plead Post CV Build Brain Fatigue. ) Left Side View: Top View: Theoretically some of this Top Middle Space here could be used for Guest SV Docking... in practice, I dunno if i'll recommend it. I stuck Passenger Seats on my dude in case I ever need to give anyone (I trust) a ride but really this dude's mostly for personal use. Also, my SV Hangar (Partially visible in the 2 Side View Screenies) is really meant for my Tyrax Dragonet to have it to herself. Bottom View: & no, I do NOT think I overdid it on the Landing Gear.
I'm curious how bad the blueprint-reproduction bug is going to affect that middle one. Might want to give it a throw into blueprint and spawn it out in creative mode and see how well it recovers its 'central point' for hover.
Oh, I have already made some tests and had no major problems. But when I'm done, I upload the BP so you can test it. I think I have found a solution for the problem and test it just to the HMS-Hummel-o-War.
Thats good. Until they kind of fix how the 'center of lift' changes on spawn (or make hover engines actually the points of lift), its a little screwy to repro HVs. Thankfully yours isn't suffering! Thats a pretty interesting HV you have there heheh.
Maybe I just like to be different, but I use directional thrusters on all directions plus the one hover engine. Love it... If Im poor. I use one each way. If I'm rich I use two trusters each way. Normal trusters front and rear give faster take offs and better braking I find.
Nope. I hard tested their Locations & Firing Patterns with multitudes of different Strafing Patterns & Mouse Movements as I fire & am satisfied I have eliminated all accidental Friendly Fire Risk Scenarios. Gotta love Creative Mode. ^_^ I want this SO much... @LiftPizzas has told me before that Thrusters pointed downwards used to give more Booster Jump Height to HVs, then that got removed & no word on if it'll ever come back or not or if the Devs will do something else, if I remember right.
Not much, didnt even log in. Im afraid Im getting a bit bored with it all. Once I do most of the things in a game I lose interest. I am not into PVP or killing things for the most part. I do like the creative mode but that too is a bit boring after a while. Dont laugh but I used to spend some time in Second Life building and scripting things to amuse myself, building in Empyrion is a bit kindergarten compared to Sl. Ill look in from time to time when I get the urge.
I built today the toughest ship this ENTIRE game including workshop has. There is no question it is miles tougher than anything else. There is NO ship on the workshop or in existence that I know of, in the Empyrion universe that can take down this ship. Ships made of heavy re-inforced steel, this new ship cuts to pieces like butter, in just seconds its over. Its eye watering stuff, scary fast , and lethally dangerous. And you cant even see it until the next update when I upload it to workshop ! But I will leave a link ! Long live the dev's , for making the game better and better ! Sorry I cant even leave a screenshot. Unfortunate .
My hover test is over. And I have good news and bad news for large Hover Vessel. The good news is: I have found a way to deal with the large HV The bad news: There is no good solution, and DEV have much yet to be improved at the HVs. I show you the "solution" with pictures, because i think my english is not good enough to explain this only with words. The problem is, you must build every time again a new pillar under your large HV before you close the game or change/leave the playfield. It would be fine, if a guy with better english skills like mine, write a useful guide for this. Sounds for me like "Empire wants to buy Death Star from German production"
Now I REALLY look forward to getting Iji geared up next time I can MP Play! Got proof? Cause I consider LiftPizzas a reliable source... though mind ya i'd love it if being able to power up Boost Jump power is indeed still doable. Some of us wanna make Hover War Tanks sometimes & they tend to be pretty big heavy dudes.
In that case, I think it's time I start Field Tests of this in my Creative Game... Many thanks for this info! Edit: I have completed Tests. I built a dummy HV with minimum stuff to run & not drift around & no Thrusters pointed down & Boost Jumped. I then placed many Thrusters pointed down & Boost Jumped again... no difference in Height... It's looking to me like it still doesn't work. Your HV might clear your Base cause it's got a low enough Weight for it only.
