CV for nothing but fight. Heavy 2-3 layer armor, 4 groups of fuel|ammo tanks, rocket|plasma turrets, pulse lasers as main weapon. Small defended hangar for SV. Cheap enough to don't care about loss. Named after Carolus XII, Sweden king.

It was designed to fit the SV's I design, not the ones you design.

    Amen.

When we build ships, we try to take into consideration our own, or the average size we usually see. Mine for instance, the Revenant can fit upwards to a decent size, but like Neonin said. It was specifically designed to fit the vessels that I have created for the very faction they are apart of. Cant call it a bad carrier if its not being used as its intended =). Cant fit a large square into a small circle =)

Yeah, takes a bit of skill and finess for pilots to wiggle back into position inside the Vellumcore. Considering the Commander's penchant for dishing out harsh punishmrnt to those scratching the walls (let alone worse) of his baby, tours of duty on the Vellumcore are universally dreaded by rookies and cadets.

    ******* SCRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPE *******

Captain: "What the HELL was that?"
    Rookie: "Uhhh..."
    Captain: "OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!!"
2IC: "Erm sir, our laws don't allow for capital punishment..."
Captain: "Who's stupid idea was that?! Bloody politicians!"

    :p

Today I did some more work, briefly, on my corvette. Detailed the top bit but it's still a fair way from completion as it has no underside or any internal stuff yet!

Just realised I posted that in the wrong thread, I thought I was in the "What did you do in Empyrion today" thread...

As for the thrusters and possible thruster damage, it depends on how they end up modelling it. Based on the closest analogue, SE, they should be fine. The rearmost set is definitely not close enough to that turret to do any damage, whereas the ones to the fore are probably borderline.

I'll worry about it when they add thruster damage :p

    Yeah :)

I have an alien vessel where almost all thrusters are aimed at each other in a ball (its an alien design!).... but I bet that will explode later at some point hahaha.

Just wanted to attach the blueprint for the above shown CCV Vellumcore... in case the workshop link is insufficient for consideration by Eleon.

The WVW-Traveler has been with me since the beginning. It has the virtue of having been initially designed in survival using scaffolding and other old timey building techniques. In collaboration with Motokid402, it has been updated with all the latest snacks, creamy centers that explode, glitter, the year 2000 stuff. So if you haven't looked at the WVW-Traveler in a while, look again :)

I finished my very first CV last night! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out even if it's not as good as some of the amazing ones of the workshop.

Hi, This ship is called the Raptor-C, It's a small (17x21x7) PVE ship meant for landing on planets. Full combat armour, 18 growing plots, 1 advanced constructor, med and oxy bays, Food processor and 3 fridges and 4 mini gun turrets on top.
Looks a bit like an aeroplane but then it's meant to be at home in an atmosphere, which it is.

Sorry, this is the old steel hull version, my bad

The Brutus mining hulk is a fairly cheap cv build and probably one the most fuel efficient cv on the game right now. It is a around a 2000 iron build it has 4 30mm cannon turrets which can destroy any drones small or large in seconds also there are two plasma turrets to help with space drones and space combat. When its four and half fuel tanks are fully fueled it has a hover fight time in atmosphere of over 2 hours even better when moving. In space it will often say 0 to 1 percent power usage. However don't expect starfighter performance it is called a hulk for a reason, it can take minute to get up to full speed. It comes with 6 constructors for processing ore while mining on location. It also has cloning station, med station, one oxygen station, one fridge and one food processor, and also 6 passenger seats and of course one cockpit and warpdrive, warptank, gravity generator. I do not recommend trying to put a hv in the bottom ramp bay it can work but is difficualt, however a small sv can fit fairly easily in the ramp bay. I would recommend putting most sv and hv on the top of the craft. Anyway I hope you all enjoy. And P.S. Tell me if you guys would like a brighter outside color scheme because of the muddy textures.

This is the Envy Assault Frigate V1 cv, this ship is what I would call midrange expense build. It cost about 3700 iron to build. The craft is built out of normal steel plate with some underbelly and cockpit made of harden steel. The craft has 16 full fuel tanks, however 8 are in the back and are spaced for protection while the other 8 are in the front nacelles and are not well protected they are there for extra range only, i leave them empty most of the time. With that said it can get about 1 hour flight time in atmosphere when 8 tanks are full and little over 2 hours when all 16 are full. The craft comes armed with 4 30mm cannon turrets, 3 plasma turrets, and 2 laser cannons. It can also have a what I call a turret module installed " which is a huge hover tank with 4 artillery turrets and 2 plasma turrets" for extra firepower for ground assaults instead of using the area as a landing pad for a sv. It comes with 1 fridge, 1 oxygen station, 3 oxygen tanks, 4 constructors, 5 passenger seats, 1 cockpit, 1 warpdrive, 1 warptank, 3 ammo crates, and about 7 crates. The craft has been battle tested and has done well, it flys almost as good as a starfighter sv but is a little large and may run into asteroids. Also I have 4 groups of thrusters there are fore thrusters which I like to turn off so I may glide in space at 2 percent power and I also turn off the small fore thrusters and small thrusters, those are for slow speed if you want for docking. Anyway I hope you enjoy the craft.
