Well finally learned how to use Console Commands in Survival mode so I could have a Creative mode with NPCS and I decided to take my new Capital ship into space and take an Alien base . Well umm the Aliens won as you can see but I took some drones down . These Aliens might have won this battle but I will win the war. LOL Alien satellites are no jokes. The AI in this game is pretty good. I don't know if this was on purpose but Drones took out my engines and turrets first then finished my ship off. Everything was going fine until the drone took out my full tanks and all the lights went off in my ship . LOL
Especially that alien outpost asteroid area ! i went in with SV and died . I had joined multiplayer recently few days back , the experience was awesome as I am not alone anymore yay , sadly almost handful of resources are mined poorly and left behind leaving bits here and there . Another achievement would be having a pal start me up from the beginning and we are travelling to planets together , so much fun ! Well , not that challenging as alien bases and drone bases are wiped clean by players who played early. Goals yet to achieve is to build a CV , rather hard to plan how to build the ship , however i just made a HV yesterday . I had that idea to build it and in the ended up not what i wanted . Oh wells
Multiplayer is fun . I do mainly single player but I jump on multiplayer servers from time to time. In single player all the ALien bases are yours to take if you can. Building a Capital ship can take some time but That's why I play around in Creative mode until i come up with an idea to build a ship.
A GMT Clanner & I challenged a RCG dude in PvP Combat. We took out his SV, then he surprised us by pulling up outta nowhere in another SV & finished off both of our SVs. I managed to sneak to my Backpack while he was lambasting Iji's corpse & got my Epic Plasma Cannon ready & snuck up near his Cockpit & blew him up, then blew the hell outta his second SV in several Plasma Hits. XD The Spare Parts Boxes on Iji survived, (The Spare Parts Box Locations tweak worked! ) & I was able to smack a Cockpit, Core, Generator, & Fuel Tank onto Iji & retreat her to the GMT CV. I was trying to Dock her on when the RGC dude came outta nowhere & attacked again with a third SV, blowing me up yet again. I managed to get to my Backpack again & got the Epic Plasma Cannon & Epic Minigun prepped & attacked. I eventually ran outta Plasma Cannon Ammo & switched to the Minigun. Eventually I suddenly realized i'm a Mega Drp & I had acces to the CV even though it wasn't mine cause it was set to Faction at the time, so I got into it, turned it on, then got behind the wheel & sicked the CV Minigun Turrets on the foe. They totally sucked. They fired for ages & I can't tell if they ever even did much damage to the Enemy SV. Eventually he bugged out & I fetched my pal. I got greedy & tried to save Iji again. This gave the RGC dude time to get his own CV & he returned & blew up our own CV, marooning us in his Territory. I got the sneaky idea for my Clanner to stash his stuff in a surviving Box on the CV then Suicide with the Suicide Button, but for some weird reason he opted to just take his Helm off & Asphyxiate taking a stupidly long time to do so compared to how fast it woulda been IRL, intending to Respawn at the GMT Homeworld, but the game decided to suck & respawn him on the Starter Planet instead. Damn luckily, there was still a Shuttle at the GMT Embassy there, so the plan still worked out. He Warped into the System to pick me up, but the RGC dude initiated an Act of War by firing on an unarmed civilian vessel. Eventually my Epic Plasma Cannon showed him I meant business about what he was doing & he made up for it by replacing the defeated Warp Drive outta his own stuff, so I decided that made up for it. (In addition to sneaking the loot he coulda got from our Ship's dead corpses out from under his nose so he didn't get any. ) We managed to return to the GMT Homeworld battered & defeated, but alive, & with me not losing my 2 Epic Weapons many thanks to my Clanner pal.
No, turned out chad had gotten one done & we took his to the Eastern Asteroid Field instead. Turned out to be a REALLY good thing...
I mean i'm damn glad I didn't get your CV blown up, especially when you're offering its use to us was a awesome thing for ya to do.
In my defense chad's pretty new to PvP & his CV wasn't up to snuff, & his SV might need work. *CoughGoRailGunsDudeCough* Also he crashed a couple of times & the Red Dude wasn't afraid to exploit that. *CoughChickenCough*
Well after a few CVs destroyed . I finally took the Alien base and I claimed it for the EMPIRE!!! Now the base belongs to the Empire. lol There are a lot of my destroyed CVs all around this area that is not in the picture. lol If you could see the whole area you would think I had a fleet battle. Nothing but destroyed drones and my destroyed CVs everywhere . lol Now time to build a CV out of nothing but combat blocks so I can try to take over this Galaxy. lol
Today, I would like to finish the new revision of my "Kushan Carrier" for the future update up from MKIII to MKIV. The new revision in the experimental build used hangar doors, some new doors, and a new hull system. The "old" MKIII was only build out of hardened steel and I use only 6 extra large thruster, one for every direction. An update to combat blocks destroy the flight ability of the CV completely. So I seperate the hull in 3 pieces: outer hull - combat blocks, interior weak points - hardened steel and combat blocks, all other normal steel blocks. Currently almost done, the rest I need to do is texture the hull, interior paint jobs and interior design.
Been playing multiplayer with my pal , parked a hv in space ...it flew away , took some great pains to dock it upside down rofl
Just took over a drone base on the akua moon. I made it a flak tower. I had a lot of rock so i encased it all in cement. For no reason.. lol. Reinforced some rooms. Added agricultural sections. Guess it's time to finally start building a small CV. Perhaps a lunar HV first
Picking up steam in my latest Omicon start. Early on I burrowed into a hillside as an early base, and I have been gradually building a concrete framework for a respectably large base. After sacking a couple Xenu bases I had more than enough goodies to start fleshing it out for reals. The old burrow became the "cellar" for my new outpost. Though it's by no means finished (I mean, I still have gaping holes in the walls where I have expansions planned) but it's working pretty well so far. Oh, and has anyone ever done this? So I had a corner I was going to put a cargo crate, and while I was lamenting the part where it would forever sip at my power reserves, I had an epiphany. I took an SV starter and carefully lined it up with the very corner, placed it, whipped out the R&R tool and removed everything except the back row of blocks (even the core). Then I started sticking cargo boxes on it. And some ammo crates, constructors... this was the end result. TONS of storage space, compact location, won't draw power since it's technically a seperate "craft". Worked perfectly for my base! Anyways, here's the rest (so far) of Overwatch Outpost.
I haven't played too much Empyrion recently but as I've been re-watching some Star Trek I got inspired to shamelessly rip off one of their ship designs. This is a civilian passenger shuttle that is very much based on the Star Trek runabouts, with some Stargate Puddlejumper similarities too. Pretty much finished except for the paint and texture work:
Just wondering - what prompted you to plop down ammo boxes and constructors? The SV has no functional weapons, and if the thing is powered off the constructor (which would be inferior to any base constructor anyway) wouldn't be of any use either. Still, the cargo boxes is pretty clever - I wonder if the devs will consider this an exploit and endeavor to patch it.
You just solved microblocks. I did something similer but for a different purpose. A few of us figured out how to make quick drop turrets via HV and blueprints. This was when you needed a perfect flat surface for a base so that wasnt working yet. I had not considered doing this for storage.
