I was thinking about that, but also did never published anything before so i have to look into a proper preparation before uploading. Yep it's a directional thrust haha was unaware of particles floating through the blocks. Maybe it's just a kind of cockpit lightning Edit: Thank you for the hint, i published it on steam under the url: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=756540566
Ah, excellent. I just logged on to give you a brief tutorial, but I see that you converted the png to jpg just fine. Nice ship!
That is effen awesome man! Normally I don't bother caring about 'reproductions' of something else... but that one is just awesome lol.
Well then i'll be buggered, perhaps your Rocket Launcher Placement (somehow) didn't flunk after all. Gratz.
My second ship. I uh, might have got a little carried away with this one. The Pirate Cruise ship, The Yar's Folly. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=757331440
I'm probably going to add sails at some point. I could probably add a skull design to them but I was going for something a little more subtle with the name/design I painted on the deck.
As long as i don't know where it's right to post i will create double posts here and for the specialized threads. Here is my new small vessel i hope you like it a bit. Name: Heavy-Frigate-Bomber-B01 Purpose: The B01 was developed for only one reason, to jump near the orbit of an hostile planet and destroying its aim while taking heavy damage. Its armor capabilities are outstanding for a ship from this class. But it is a one way ticket, the engines are prepared for basic manoveurs and not for a fast getaway. So, after reaching the goal this bomber outputs heavy damage to its target. Weaponary: 6 Plasmacannons Link to workshop (with more images): http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=757825767
Here's my first contribution, a Vic Viper from the old Gradius games. It's very light and uses only common resources (but does require a higher level to unlock the cockpit). http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=758427145
Warning! This is a serious ship, only to be used on hardcore RPG servers. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=756949195 There's a big one too in the CV thread.
The Nova Transport is fast and nimble transport. It is armed only with on 30mm cannon, however it could be armed with addtional weapons mods later. It also has a small flight deck for one gunship. The inside is small but usefull it has 2 cargo boxes, 2 constructors, med station, clone station, food station and frige and also has a small bay in the back of the Transport for sv bikes and small hover cars which also has 2 passenger seats . The back bay also has the two fuel tanks which when fueled all the way up should give you 1 hour to 30 minutes flight time in atmosphere depending on planet. You can also turn off forward thursters to allow the ship to glide while in space. Hope you will enjoy, please leave suggestions below. You can download it here http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=758596327
The Reflex Interceptor: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=759328636 I made the blueprint to NOT include weapons, since I didn't want to limit it to higher levels, and I didn't want higher levels to waste time and resources in the factory to build it with weapons they were going to remove anyway. Thus, the mounting surfaces are painted in RED. Enjoy!
Better ;-) With the experimental we can now put the landing gear how we want, on top for example or rear for example, it can be a great add for your ship too (it is just an idea).
I love your design concept, but for a ship with "reflex" in its title, you only have 11 m/s^2 in several crucial directions and 200 Knm for rotation/turning. Try to triple or even quadruple that so that I could train my weapons on something, for the sake of example lets say a POI turret, and then dart horizontally or vertically to dodge weapons fire while being able to pivot comfortably.
With some of the changes on the experimental, that might be a distinct possibility. I can see people creating ships with small swarmers "butt parked" against the side of the ship, and then when the call goes out that the enemy has been spotted, all the pilots run to their respective ships and launch in a huge swarm.
