Hi all! I am quite new to Empyrion and looking for a fast, agile 'minimum' scout CV blueprint. What do I mean by scout CV? A CV you can easily afford to lose but which is nevertheless sturdy enough to flee (not fight!) usual PvP encounters. What I want to do with it: warp into PvP system, detach scout SV, go exploring/mining, return to scout CV and warp back into safety. So it is neither meant to fight at all nor to withstand all-directions damage for an extended time. It just needs to be able to flee and warp. It should have good maneuverability. I am sure many of you guys farm the most expensive ores (zascosium etc.) in PvP space. And noone likes to lose expensive CVs. So I guess 'scout CVs' for quick and dirty entry and exit of PvP space are common. Can anyone supply a good and efficient (i. e. minimized blocks + cost) blueprint?

Hello all. I would like to present to you..... Piggggs innnn Spaaaaace! The big one is a fully functional CV ( there are no turrets on it ), with 18 grow plots, large hangar, 3 large construtors, 2 food processors, 6 fridges, med and oxy stations and lots of storage. It's warp capable and has 2 rocket launchers. Entrances are in 2 legs and 1 on top. D.S.V. Atlantia Atlantia Class Starship is a hybrid battleship/aircraft carrier. She has two flight decks capable of launching 20 Avenger Class Omnifighter on the flight deck. She also has room for storing an aditional 6 Avengers in the forward section plus 2 Scemitar Personel Transports. The bow is armoured five blocks deep with combat steel blocks, Engineering and most critical sections of the ship are also heavy armoured. There is an over provision of generators for redundancy and to meet the power requirements for any future upgrades. The ship is heavily influenced by the Battlestar Galactica & Rodger Young designs. She is not designed for flight in the Atmosphere! Forward acceleration is 34 m/s2 with directional acceleration of 14 m/s2. Don't let the small size fool you! The ship is packed with everything a self-sufficient space traveler needs! Amenities include warp drive, docking space in rear with extendible ramp, living quarters for one, organised cargo area, farm, food processor, medic station, gravity generator, and O2 station all in a compact package with simple layout. The shp is ready for your customisation with space for your choice of constructor and other 2x2x2 device (such as offline protection).. It comes unarmed, but the roof territory is sufficient for several turrets of your choice and mounting a main gun under the cockpit is trivial. Exterior hull is hardened steel. Steel inside the ship has not been upgraded to limit mass and cost.
So I put this guy on the steam workshop yesterday. It is of course a Gou'ald mothership from Stargate. Was a fun build. For those times when you want to go CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP I present, Rippy the Gator! In case you're not familiar with my inspiration: Rippy is a BBBBBBBIIIIIIIIGGGGGG CV. I mean really, really big. Like he can go chomp chomp chomp on most of the other CV's in this thread. He measures 98 x 262 x 56m. Alternatively, he's 49 x 131 x 28 blocks. He's a fully equipped base CV with growing plots, multiple fabricators, a ship hangar, and so on. Basically, he has all the amenities. He also has guns. Lots and lots of guns. And I didn't even go totally crazy on the guns because I figure most people would want to adjust the ratio of space-only to all-around turrets. He even has 20x forward firing pulse lasers which with some practice to adjust for the completely misplaced crosshairs, he can be deadly with since he's incredibly nimble for a ship his size (143 RCS's). All this comes with a pretty steep price tho. If anyone is looking for an unmodified original version of the Talos cruiser I have posted it to steam. The only changes to original were removal of POI fuel tanks, removal of bad blocks, and removal of POI weapons. I also added a Warp core fuel tank where 1 POI fuel tank was. These changes were needed in order to be able to use in game.
