Looking for a some folks to play with.

Well, this is my first post on the official forums. So uhh, hey

Anywho, I purchased a small 4 man dedicated server for my friends and I, but as it turned out, my friends despised the game. So, now I'm looking for some people to populate the server. I really hate paying for a server for nothing and it seems like a waste.

I don't really have any rules and I would never expect anyone to help with the server costs, I'm more then capable of handling that myself, so it will never go down either. If there is interest of even a few folks, I will keep it running and if necessary, expand the servers capacity to meet the need should that possibility arise.

So, hopefully this is appealing to someone out there. A bit of background on myself, I've been PC gaming for 27 years and I'm experienced in most aspects of PCs, be it gaming of any genre, hardware or software. I'm not some teen running a server out of his basement that will ban you on a whim. I've been doing this for quite some time.

Anyway, hope to hear from....well, someone.

Well, bought the game thought it's awesome, told friends and some of them bought it. Rented a server now I'm mostly alone... Let it run out. That sort of familiar

Something that might help or attract people is to describe your intentions; what are the themes? PVE or PVP or Both? Do you want to have specific factions? I know you said you do not have any rules, but what would you like people to do? Build creatively? Do you want to organize to take down POI's?

 

So far it's a laid back 'do what ever you want and don be a dick' server.

 

I also fall into the "been playing games for the last 20 something years, and am looking for a small multiplayer server to have some good times on. I prefer PvE over PvP. Would you mind if I join in the fun?

@Dorfski i wouldn't mind that PM if you don't mind. I'm on the hunt for a decent (Non-asshat) server to enjoy some Empyrion on.

We just wiped the server playfields a week ago. I know that seems like a lot of time but this server is very unique Come check it out!
