KAMERADEN!!! After our first Space Travels in the Rheingold-I one of our engineers, and i can say at this point: I am so proud of the Robin, discoverd new materials to build this new ship - the Walkyrie-I <<<- Click here We brought together everything for far space traveling, including a Warp Drive and high efficiency Tier-3 Fuel Tanks. Again we used the best german Krupp-Steel in a full new way to get the ship more harden with a battle armor (just in case). On board you will find everything to stay out in the deepest space for weeks, truly just for exploration, i swear!
Looks like a good start. Would suggest you take daytime pics. The images are a little hard to see the details. Looking forward to seeing finished version.
sry for the late reply guys, iam in moment on high scool in training, this is why iam not too active in moment. i worked on very completely new CVs and ships but i must wait for time to finished and upload it. my website stopps too in moment. i hope i can get few time for empy .
Nice work... but... Minmatar? I hope you made it with scrap iron and put one of every gun type on it Played EVE nearly exclusivly for over 5 years, been away nearly as long but playing Empyrion is making me think about going back. If only I could remember everything, it would take another year just to get back to where I was!
So, you know that ship outline that is on every statistics panel that you see all the time? Here is my best scale model of that ship: Enjoy! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=763312932
I really like how this ship turned out so thought I'd post it here as it'll probably just get lost amongst the many others in the workshop. Its mainly made from steel with reinforced/combat steel around all the important parts so its only around 4200 iron ingots to build and handles pretty well on planets. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=759093221
Decided to try and build a 1:1 Star Wars Sandcrawler. They're much smaller than I expected, and I couldn't get the twin-tapered front end right so I just left it with the straight angles... http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=767427409
Ok... interior is complete! Let me know if you have any suggestions! thanks http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=767321332
Built another carrier... I must have a thing for these or something. For this one I wanted two arm 'spurs' to use as hangars, what came out looked a little bit like a scorpion; hence the name. Scorpius Assault Carrier http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=768212165
I am much better with creating themed bases for the ruins and wrecks thread, but I thought I might share this with everyone: Introducing, Solid-Simple-Survival-CV It is very small, with a small profile, and it is also very low level! This is the first capital ship I attempted when I first acquired this game and while with each play through on survival I build new SVs and HVs, I tend to gather the materials for this ship and modify it in some small way each time. So it is done, and yet a work in progress. It is not going to win you any races, but it is not sluggish either. Plus, it is plenty efficient and can travel huge distances even with T2 Fuel tanks. The hull is Hardened steel to reduce the cost and weight. I really enjoy glass during the survival experience so much of the exterior is coated with it - that way I can look out at all the flora/fauna/drones that may be in the nearby landscapes. The other advantage to working with glass is that some of the roof of the "main area" is replaced with it and that really opens up such a small ship - makes the interior feel roomier. Never fear though, it is armored glass! The primary landing area for SVs is on the roof, and there is extra space for more, really, anything in either stubby wing. Introducing: the SlamTek Xorn Frigate Designed as a light scout/recon/mobile base, the Xorn is equipped with a warp drive, a small farm, 4 staterooms for captain and crew, and two hangar bays, one at the top for SVs and one at the bottom for HVs. It is made of Hardened Steel to save on weight over Combat steel, and while it isn't the quickest ship in the galaxy, it has enough power to get wherever you need to go (and take off again!) Check it out on the Steam Workshop: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=771251794
I've just completed my first CV hull. I built it in creative mode and exported the blueprint so that I can work toward it in my survival game. I've saved it as an empty hull so that I can continue building it out as I accumulate the resources for equipment. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=771233946
Jones, this idea has stuck in my head - I really like the reversed double-decker hanger approach. Very innovative!
Thanks very much, Fractalite! Yes, first try - we'll see if and how well the thing actually works at some point soon BTW, I like the emphasis on economy/resource budget on the CV you posted. I'm still in the resource buildup phase in my game and yours was one of the ones that caught my eye on the Workshop before I decided to try rolling one myself!
I appreciate your kind words jmtc, but I am not sure I believe you. Compared with your master build, my ship is a dumpy little gremlin. I just loaded this behemoth in creative and I am very impressed.
