Took some more time to try again and check if it was possible to do a sea ship. Found out that it was possible to cut that leg under the boat and increase the heigh to control how much the water line will go underwater. Soon i will update all my sea vessels with this new rules. Unfortunly the vessels drop when unmanned after some time. That will be a problem to such large vessels and its hard but not impossible to bring them up. To rest, a underwater dock is required. Here the Kingston resting on a dock where i can turn it off and avoid sinking.
*Trumpets & Fanfare* I made a thing! After months watching the master shipbuilder at work, contributing when and where I was told, I've finally gotten some creative juices going. So here it is. Ghost - An entry level combat hover vehicle for all your hovering needs, gets you from A to B, with added Guns! It's not got the greatest of ground clearance, even at maximum height, so it tends to go up steep slopes sideways, but we did manage to get it to the top of a mountain oh, and it does like belly rubs, and wants to roll over and not get up again. Comments and suggestions are welcome. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=778084276
How big is too big? This. This is too big. The SlamTek Mammoth HV. Soon to available to maniacs everywhere. Yes. It really is an HV. No. It is not fast.
The future is now! The SlamTek Mammoth CAN BE YOURS! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=779858260 Enjoy hours of fun crushing POIs, avoiding all but the flattest terrain, and digging it out from shallow hills once in a while! Here, see for yourself: ** Mammoth Catcher CV available if requested. It's ugly as heck, but it's the only CV I know of that can cart the big guy around.
New to the game and the forums. Would love some feedback on my new creations, a themed set of ships based of 70's Electronic Toys. Mainly designed for fun and nostalgia, I'd like to think they're semi-functional at least. You can find the Bigg Trakk (Yes, I felt it was important to add extra consonants) here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=783331001 It's a tight squeeze, but the Bigg Trakk can dock in the lower cargo bay of the StarBird CV. Looking forward to feedback. Thanks! >monk
I had one of these as a kid, awesome thing and a decent re-creation, if a little plain around the nose, I remember it being a bit more complex, but then, it's probably difficult to get very close to the original. I do like the control panel on the back . Props for taking me back to my childhood
It's my pleasure. I enjoyed making it, especially the control panel. Hopefully more to come. It was tough with the detailing. Since colors/textures take up the whole block face, it was a judgement call on my part on some of the detailing. If I had made it much larger, I would have had a larger area, allowing for finer detail, but I was set on making it a proper size to fit inside the StarBird. Making it larger would have blown up the scale of everything else as well. I'm always open for suggestions, though, if anyone wants to post or PM me. Really looking forward to the new 4.0 changes to make it more drivable. It's got a lot of fun drift now, but it's not great on hills. I'm really hoping at some point it'll have actual wheels. >monk

Took some more work to update two ships. The recent changes are very interesting to do and refit these projects again. As they are sea vessels, they have no hover engines. Hello, SSI presents the hover-train for connecting bases. Only passengers. A different version, material transport, be there soon Enjoy!
A lil' veteran survival tool, suited for taking cannons out at long range and hauling a s***load of loot
Decided to see what all the new mechanics did to an HV I created a while back, and gave it a little update: It's basically my old Nomad but with a fair amount of extra stuff and it's had the new hover engines and boosters added, along with a tweak or two to make sure it balances nicely. What can I say, why change a classic and I always use this thing on a new start cause it's pretty low in cost once that old rocket launcher was replaced with another minigun turret! Minimalist recon vessel, fast and agile, excellent for meat gathering meat and odd jobs ... no armor whatsoever.
This, isnt REALLY, a new vessel, as such..... some designchanges have been made to the forst one, that ended up as a prefab, so i descided to go revamp my own version, into 4.2.0 steam link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=788518997 Image:
Updated my old Courier design to include the new hover technology and make sure it's balanced nicely for piloting: I left the cockpit as an enclosed one rather than switching to the new open design because doing so would mess up the cockpit glass as the open design is actually taller than the one it currently uses...
