I have a question for anyone who might own this game; I see from the description that it has building/survival options, but then many of the reviews speak of boss fights as being the primary draw - so what is the game like? It is pretty cheap so I might just try it out anyway, but 10 dollars is 10 dollars and I am not sure I want to buy a game that is more about boss fights to the exclusion of other pursuits? Any thoughts?
In Terraria boss fights work as gameplay milestones. Most of the time you will dig and fight your way trough caves, dungeons, jungle and other biomes. Once you are ready, you can summon and fight one (or multiple) bosses to obtain additional rare loot and continue your adventures. I'd recommend to read official wiki and watch some "lets play" videos for better explanation what Terraria is all about.
