Today we release our new small warp-capable carrier, Mephistopheles, it's intended for a couple of people (like us) in mid-game. Has a full complement of survival kit including grow plots, some light weaponry for primarily defensive purposes. It has a forward hangar able to fit somewhere around 4-6 (depending on your parking skills) small vessels and hover vehicles, with two side entrances for HV's and the main frontal entrance for SV's. Ideal for that quick jaunt to the moon for loot and Sathium. We think it's rather useful, we hope you do too.
Cheyenne XV So, this time around I decided to make mostly functional improvements. The Hangar bay door is larger so as to avoid the SV getting hung up upon entry. The awkward bottom elevator entrance has been removed, and has been replaced with stairs that extend down the left and right rear legs. Large generators have been added and smaller ones removed. Some RCSs moved from hangar to interior of wings. Some lighting was changed on account of the newer 4.x version being much darker for some reason. 3 top access doors added, plus some additional descent thrusters. Finally, the repair block has been added for the SV. I do apologize for the exterior textures. Loading my old BP to improve somehow changes the textures of the whole outer hull. (they really need to implement automated fuel tank reloading)

Introducing, Asteroid Assault. With the success and curiosity of Dust Cloud Assault HV, I had the idea of expanding things and making a CV version. This is intended as a creative exercise but is a full fledged CV - just lacks a warp drive(for now.) I think I am going to be adding more "asteroids" over time as well as changing their shapes to make them less block/ovoids and more like real looking asteroids/meteors. To be competitive in PVP would need more "asteroids" and armor - but it could be done. Casts really cool shadows. As with all my creative exercises feel free to take them modify them any way you wish, I only ask that you enjoy being creative! "Mommy, where do space ships come from?" "Well you see dear, when a designer loves two ships very much..."
Here's one of the First ships i've uploaded to the Workshop. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=801741756 Galaxy Class Starship, USS Galaxy. The first of it's kind. It is made much smaller than its original 643 meters, mostly because it would have huge internal space which would be completely useless for a single person to use. Not to speak of the games laughable weapons range for CVs. So i chose to use a scale of 1 Block = 6 meters, which seems to work pretty well for most of the ships i create. It's a shame we can't build more smooth looking surfaces and that the availlable weapons look so... old fashioned. I put most importance in the right proportions of the ship, because i HATE it when ppl. are creating huge interiors just the sake of it at the cost of a distorted looking ship. Like the ship in Star Trek universe it will always get the newest technological equipment as soon as it is availlable. (can't wait to put some energy shields on it and some decent Sci Fi weapons) It features a lot of rooms and interiors, like an Engine room, Bridge, captains ready room, Ten forward, quarters, cargo bay, Armory, Shuttle bay. Just a few examples: Bridge: Ten forward (or however it is called on the USS Galaxy) Here's another shot (just because of its awesomeness ):
This is pretty much exactly what I've had in my head for a while as a possible build (the way it's done not the exact style) but due to my limited CV experience have been unable to put "into practice" as it were... Damn you, and bless you
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=807942861&searchtext=manta+ray Here is my first real attempt at a CV, the first one I built was pretty much just a flying box I put together in survival mode haha. This is the Manta Ray, it is painted in "Moon Patrol" color scheme. It goes along with the Sting Ray (SV) I built.

Introducing, Metris. This is the survival CV I built for myself after the 4.x mechanics upped the cost for all CV related designs. I uploaded this primarily so that I would still have the ship if my computer went kaput. So nothin fancy here. Each time I play through a survival game I tweak Metris a bit - this time around I added some plating around the edges of the ship that have colored lining. I love the effect. I got the inspiration from Kieve's new HV, the Drifter: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=816922425&searchtext=Drifter - (you should go take a look, it is very neat) Around 7800 Iron, Metris is very accessible as far as CV's go(If you are struggling, just dismantle 2 or so POI's; you should then have all the metal plates.) Only 10 Erestrum and 10 Zascosium means the bottle-necking from exotic materials is kept to a minimum. The two positions for the CV based Repair pads are marked. The main hangar can fit and HV the size of Hecate: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=809242685 There are no beds here; no chairs or tables; Metris is very easy to move through, and is designed for the purpose. If the Developers ever add AI CV's and SV's I will consider upping it's speed and adding fixed weaponry. I make this realy small capital vessel to play a survivor mode. I spend a lot of time creating models on empyrion basicly because this is the best game that i ever known and, of course, i have a lot of time to spend LOL Hope you like and make me know if you like ok? http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=809740839
